This is who I would protect for the Expansion Draft. CC, AB, KM, Hull, Fagbenle and Berger. Samuelson is under contract for $180,250 and Dantas for 100k. I would not protect either one hoping GSV took one of them. A new coach would play Berger. She is a really good player.

Totally agree that Grace needs more minutes. Watched her for 4 years at IU and she just steps up if given the chance. Don't know about Sides as a coach? She needs to watch Grace's last season at IU and the leadership role as well as her talent when asked to step up says it all. Go play in Europe Grace work on being the best. We saw the best in you at IU...

Fever lost momentum due to poor rotation choices. A strong PG sat on the bench, despite the need for a spark. The coach stuck with an ineffective lineup, costing them key moments when better rotation could have changed the game!!

Grace is a legit good player. I wish she could get more minutes. I believe her time will come.

Grace has been a victim of Coach Sides' very big weakness : rotations and playcalling. If the NBA has a 15 man roster, plays 12 every night and calls the same play for everyone, so if one player gets injured, the next man up replaces them depending on their role. Sides only uses 6-8 players of a 12 women roster, can't call a play if her job depended on it. By after the break, she just left CC roaming free. Grace was often DNP'd even when she played well. Keep up up the faith, Grace. We'll find you a coach that can utilize your talents. You along with Lexi, Kristy Wallace, and Dantas was severely underutilized. Even Katie Lou.

It definitely helps to put bemch players in. At the beginning of the season, with 8 games, in 11 or 12 days. Putting bench players in gets rest to some of the starters. As the season goes on towards playoffs, a little more rest for the starters, in parts of the game

There is no disrespect to Katie Lou, Erika, or NyLyssa, but they need to be cut or traded to offload payroll. The Fever need to play Grace a lot more, as she has the tools to make a great backup for CC. Of course, this all starts with firing Sides, who just doesn't understand how to build a team or scheme around a generational talent like CC.

I totally agree with you. Grace is technically a veteran. She has shown in the past she is solid back up if given a chance. With CC, AB, and KM as your 3 pillars, the Fever need role players that can run. If they are inside player, need to play defense. The fever need a 3 point shooter that plays defense. No matter what, the team scheme must be built around Caitlin’s attributes period.
