Grace has been blowing my mind for the last few years!! She has a TRUE respect for those who have paved the way for her and everyone else with music in their hearts. She exemplifies the places you can go with hard work, dedication, PRACTICE, and respect for your elders and those that came before you, and yes, she ABSOLUTELY makes the future hopeful and is a wonderful, fresh hope from her generation!! ❤❤

Maybe it’s just the algorithm but I was listening to Comin’ Round the Mountain by Funkadelic right before this popped up. Happy to see Marc Bolan getting a shout out, too. She almost looks like a blonde version of him.

Great choices one and all! Grace has a great talent for putting her own spin on things while paying tribute to the original piece. Her growth is unreal, swear every few months you can here the difference in how and what she plays (even on the same songs), one of the few young players who realizes space is as important as the notes played. Bit surprised Grace didn't pick Page or SRV as she has in the past said they were both huge influences on her, then again she stated some were influences "lately". Which again shows she's always listening to new music and learning. Reminds me of Hendrix in a way, ya never see a pic without her holding a guitar! LOL Whoever it was that started Bowers journey into listening to the music of the 60's and 70's, can't be thanked enough. Such a natural talent, hard worker who anyone can tell by her playing truly Loves what she is doing. The passion and talent are real! Looking forward to seeing her perform live at the Troubador in LA.

I know this is a riffs showcase so she didn’t go for solos, but she was so tantalizingly close to Eddie Hazel’s Maggot Brain and Hendrix’s Machine Gun, two of the most epic guitar solos ever put to vinyl. She clearly has the chops so I’d love to see her take on those too.
