So if the vertigo is the most protection why does the M80 seem better lol. I have a vertigo and love it. Also, why would you make the M80 straps detachable but not the most expensive vertigo?

In high school, I'd invite my friends over to jam as many Black Sabbath songs as we could before my mother would get home from work. Full PA, drums, bass, two guitars. The house would shake. I never grew tired of these songs. To me they're timeless and hold up to this day. We only knew the first half of Symptom of the Universe unfortunately (Speak of the Devil version) - the outro on Sabotage is fantastic. Very trippy.

Everybody loves Eddie. It’s his workmen like approach. It wasn’t a rockstar approach to his equipment and sound the stage or any of that he just did what he had to do to make the best music that he could, and everything else fell into place other bands try the other way around

Nice nod to "In the End" by Rush. I'm buying this amp not because of that, but it markets it so well.

I could care less about all of his drug problems and whatever I like these kind of interviews with Eddie about what he’s good at playing at building guitars. It’s so interesting that he was able to do all that and plus being the biggest band in the world for a good decade or more.

This is like Leonardo DaVinci interviewing Nikola Tesla. 😅 To think a man with two missing finger tips can play like that, and the other guy cut the neck for the guitar he's been playing for over 60yrs from his childhood fireplace mantle with his Dad and built one of the greatest guitars ever. Sir Brian Mays father was an engineer and he became a rock star and a doctor of astrophysics. Go figure 🤔

Didn't he say that red 345 was his grandfather's guitar? Then you've got his dad, and now he's carrying on the legacy in spades...gotta love that. He's so steeped in the good stuff, the soulful southern rockers, plus this & that from the classic English guys (Clapton, et al), and Hendrix, and he's so respectful & reverent about it--topping it all off, he's absorbed all those influences and manifests it as such a great freakin' player in his own well deserved right! You can't help but appreciate where he's coming from & how his music reflects that. Godspeed Marcus King!

Had the opportunity to meet Joe when I was a young kid, 7-8 years old. He was playing at the Tabernacle in Atlanta with Dream Theater as the opener, this was around 2001. Back then we had physical tickets, and printed on the tickets was "All Ages", only when arriving at the door to the venue, we were informed it was in fact a 21+ only show which contradicted what the tickets said. We were allowed in but only in the downstairs area called the "Cotton Club" at the time, where we had to watch the concert on a TV monitor and hear the sound from below the stage instead of experiencing it in person. I'll never forget that Joe somehow found out about this, and was disappointed with the venue screwing this up, so he came downstairs before his set to do a meet and greet completely for free. I shook his hand, and all I really remember about talking with him was the fact that his original Chrome Boy guitar (he had 2 of them IIRC) was stolen the night before at a show in Birmingham, AL. I've seen Joe live countless times since then, solo, with G3, and recently on his Satch/Vai tour. It was an impression that never left me, and even now that I'm a 30 year old, Joe is still my hero.

Dickey Betts is a true inspiration to so many. What I will say about Dickey that was his signature - in my opinion - is that his soul was poured into each note and his body would gyrate along with each phrase….he would never be accused of wasting any notes - he was a true guitarist in every sense. I will say the same about Gregg’s vocals. These were undeniable and natural musicians that had no fancy accoutrements to “enhance” their musicianship. Whipping Post came in 1969….these were youngens in their 20s.
