Samuel Floyd Pharaoh was in direct opposition to Jehovah God and refused to let the Israelites flee Egypt to worship their God. In our day it’s different because meeting in person is not the ONLY way to worship together. My congregation and many others have been gathering virtually on zoom and it has been a blessing. God places a very high value on life- and this is the perfect time to social distance (potentially saving lives while still obeying Cesars law)

They resumed meeting at their Worship Center of their own accord when they saw that the "oh crap! we're all gonna die" narrative pushed by the media and Democrat bureaucrats didn't match reality. MacArthur didn't tell anyone to come back to their Worship Center, they all did it on their own. Gavin Newsom shut down wineries in almost 20 other counties, but kept his own tasting room open in Oakville. Newsom's kids' private school was kept open while every public school in the state remains locked down as I type this. Aunt Nancy was caught *unmasked* on surveillance footage defying her sweet little nephew's lockdown order in a San Francisco salon getting her hair done, then accused the salon owner of "setting her up." So please save your sanctimony for something that actually warrants it. This isn't about a virus, it's about using COVID as an excuse to control the sheep.

Funny how that short clip of the city official speaking looked no different than a pastor speaking in a church. I’m sure there was a “gathering” of people at that city briefing listening to the city official speak just as there was a gathering of people at the church listening to the pastor speak. It’s a blessing to be able to fellowship with my brothers/sisters in the Lord and sing praises and hymns to our God who has been faithful to sustain us through this unique time. If we can feel horrible over a church who is keeping their doors open to obey God and serve people and nourish their spiritual needs, have you considered thinking the same thing about liquor stores, abortion clinics(who kill way more people/lives than COVID), and casinos who are open and who’s only purpose is to literally make money out of you? How can God be both Just and Merciful? The Lord God Almighty sent His Only Son to die a brutal, torturous death on the cross to pay for our sin. He paid the fine for your crimes, my crimes, past present and future, for all who would place their genuine faith and trust in Him. He died, was buried, and three days later He resurrected from the dead, proving Himself to be God and proving His Sacrifice to be Worthy. The last 4 years of you check the stats with the CDC you’ll start to get the gist. What’s unfortunate is all the false reporting (FRAUD) with many who have died in this past 4-5 month period labeling all deaths Covid deaths! My guess is we all (or the majority) already have Covid and how convenient to just label everyone’s death without reference to their underlying health conditions (even blood types). My wife and I use to go there for Sunday services and we took bible classes. It's so sad to see many white evangelicals abandoning their biblical principles for their political affiliations. The constant double standards and hypocrisy on moral issues is hurting the Christian cause. GOD is love, hate is the opposite of love. President Trump embrace and promotes hate. Racism is hate, but hate isn't a deal breaker for many white evangelicals. They claim pro-life, but support unnecessary wars that kill hundreds of thousands of innocent lives. They're for pro birth, but celebrate when programs that help the poor are cut, like food stamps. Not a lot to say about refugee babies being separated from their mothers and locked in cages. They use the bible to deny gay rights and same sex marriage, but say nothing of denying the rights of people who divorce and remarry, when the same bible says GOD hates divorce. Non-believers see the hypocrisy of these moral principles. White evangelicals in America never repented over white supremacy. Conservatives have been on the wrong side of moral history, slavery, Jim Crow ( Government torture) Segregation, Eradication of child labor, War, Miscegenation laws, Immigration, Civil rights, Equal Education for non-whites, FHA, VHA and G.I. Bill benefits for non-whites, The environmental movement, Women rights. Conservatives have a horrible moral history record, but many white Christians identify with being conservative and damning anything liberal or progressive. When you think of slavery, lynching, segregation, no race mixing etc... who do you think of? the hippie tree hugging make love not war liberal white? or the conservative Sunday church going conservative white? It's a challenge for white evangelicals to see blacks as victims, and that's because of their close association with white racist conservatives. Many of these racist belong to the Republican Party. Actually it was the people of the congregation who decided on their own to start coming back so not financial at all. The majority of folks who tithed probably had been sending them in during the life stream services anyway. Nothing to do with donations at all.

@@or1750 Additionally, Oregon reports 167 with confirmed COVID, and 43 in ICU. There are 62 hospitals in Oregon, so if they were equally distributed, each hospital wouldn't even have three cases each and 19 hospitals would not have an ICU patient. Plus, of those who have had COVID-19, only 8.2% have needed to be hospitalized, versus 91.8% who have been able to recover at home. And the original argument for the lockdown was to ensure that the medical community would not be overrun. I think that we can safely establish the fact that that didn't happen.

Average age of death with (not of) covid in the US is 78 which "just happens" to be the average life expectancy in the US. Interesting. Your chances of dying from covid in the US if you do not live in a nursing home is vanishingly small. Winter load deaths from any cause this year has been right in line with previous years indicating that "covid deaths" are statistically people who would have died from other causes anyway. Keep in mind that anyone who is concerned about catching the Rona is free to not attend. The members just began showing up on their own. No one ordered them to attend.

Smh hate when people say "it's all about the money". This may be true for the Joel Osteen or the Steven Furtick, TD Jake's or Clefo Dollar......but did you know these other biblical pastors actually hold meetings to determine whose gonna get how much!? For example if you're a member you stay and they remove the pastor and they vote on how much should they pay him.... Then the congregation either agrees or doesn't but they need to explain why, and when they determine it they bring the pastor and tell him.... Bet you didn't know that right!? They have meetings to determine how much money is going to where... After all if im giving offerings I should have input into where it's going....it's no secret they don't need to sign disclosures preventing them from speaking or anything....c'mon, don't just assume every pastor is like these false pastor.....our pastor made $70,000 and then we had a meeting because he wanted to give some of his salary to the mission field and wanted to see if it was okay with the members. So that's a little example of how great church operates financially.
