Lyrics:
I don’t wanna talk about it, there isn’t much to say
I don’t have an excuse to why I won’t come to your party
And I don’t want my picture taken, I’d hate it anyway
No, I don’t wanna spoil your night
Just go have fun without me
I’m pushing food around my plate
Cos my father said I’m overweight
Well maybe he’d feel better
If I just disappeared altogether (and I)
Got so good at faking smiles
I can do it for a little while
Just don’t ask me if I’m okay
Cos I’m not okay, no
It’s hard to show you something invisible
No tears, no scars, no bruises... It’s not physical
It’s covered up and hidden tight
Beneath the skin, inside the mind
You wouldn’t even notice, you wouldn’t even know
Invisible, invisible, invisible
No I don’t wanna shout about it
Make it about me
Cos they’ve already aired all of my problems on TV
Got everything I ever wanted, but nothing that I need
If anything it’s just another reason I feel guilty
And I don’t really cry no more
Guess I’m just used to insecure
But don’t ask me if I’m okay
Cos I’m not okay, no
It’s hard to show you something invisible
No tears, no scars, no bruises... It’s not physical
It’s covered up and hidden tight
Beneath the skin, inside the mind
You wouldn’t even notice, you wouldn’t even know
Invisible, invisible, invisible
And standing under all the lights
The focus of a thousand eyes
You wouldn’t even notice, you wouldn’t even know
I feel invisible, invisible, invisible

Looking at the landscape of our music nowadays i doubt this song'd blow up although it deserves it. What happened with Billie Eillish is a rarity really. On the other note, Invisible is the nost powerful song i've heard in quite a while 'n i'm all for hearing to more of her music 💗

Grace Davis don't even need to have a song to blow the charts with. Her natural talent is all a self creation and for that this lady is one of the best artists we will ever have the fortunate honour of loving the bones of. Xfactor is only good for introducing Grace Davis to us. How Graces pure talent did not be crowned the winner proves to me That the xfactor is a fix. They were quite obviously shocked by Grace's level of talent they purposely messed with her Roots performance. Quite mischievous! Oh well, here we have our Gracie 😁 Love you girl. Been dying over here waiting for your epic tunez! Amazing song. 💕💯

I lived in the US from August 2015 until October 2017 and when I came back to the UK, everyone was talking about two things - Harvey Weinstein (yes, it was the beginning of THAT) and this northern girl who sang her own song called 'Roots' for her X Factor audition a few weeks earlier. Then I saw her bootcamp and judges houses performances on TV and then I realised what all the fuss was about! I still think that it's one of the biggest swizzes that Grace came second in The X Factor that year to Rak-Su. They did nothing but bop up and down a bit and sing to backing tracks that had the same two chords to them. Grace Davies is a REAL artist. I didn't mind Rak-Su so much as individuals, but as a group they irritated me so much! Still, it's good to see that Grace is still making music, but there's no way that she should be this underrated!

This morning I was just tinkering around on facebook and a video called out as The Perfect Auduiton opened up. Whoah and behold, it was you singing Roots for the first time on an X Factors audition. I instantly got hooked and over the last hour have listened to all your songs. When I heard Too Young, I didnt even realize it was an original. While all your originals are chart beaters, I thought Too Young must be a cover as it was just too good. After listening to all your X Factor numbers, I found this and absolutely loved it. Cant wait to introduce you to my young daughters. Hopefully yhis will help them to express themselves more to me and tell me about all their invisible hurts and how I can support them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC AND PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING MUSIC FROM THE HEART. Cant wait to hear your album with Roots, Too Young and others. FYI, i havr never ever commented on KZbin but you and your songs literally made me do it as I truly think you deserve a lot more recognition for yourself and your music.

This song is exactly how I have felt almost every day of my life, until this past year, I am really figuring myself out. Now I hold on to the belief that those who can't see me don't deserve to. But girl.....I SEE YOU! You really get me in all the feels and that's the only type of music I give time to. As a singer myself, it is the only type of music I will sing, because emotion is EVERYTHING. Patiently waiting for some karaoke versions lol because I would love nothing more than to perform them.

Amazing. I'm a guy but, fuck, that first verse is relatable. I hope this blows up, you deserve it, genuine proper music with meaning, everyone moans that no one makes meaningful music anymore but they're aren't listening to the right songs.
