Thanks for this review and the "real world" demo of the eq. I'm seriously considering the Felix2 for my upright bass which has a Rick Turner piezo pickup and a DPA mic. It sounds like the Felix2 can do everything I could possibly want to blend those sources.

For a solo performer singing and playing and wants an fx loop for vocals and acoustic guitar, is this the only thing on the market that can do that? It’s quite a lot to spend, but it does replace a lot of separate pedals (less points of failure, less cables, one power source, always set up and ready to go). Right now I’m using hi-low z converters like the templo splyce, and a custom output box to give me a panel to plug guitar and xlr separately to the house board. Zoia), but I may add the new templo compressor to the vocal channel. I think the only other thing I wish I had was a dry signal outs so the house can blend the stage mix but I could use a signal splitter before the fx. So much to consider but it seems like it could be the exact thing I’ve been researching and trying to find for many years.

thanks for the video! One question, is it possible to input the two channels into the preamplifier with 2 signals from the guitar stereo pedals, and output the 2 DI but playing at the same time?... that is, the switcher can leave the 2 outputs activated DI, and that output 1 comes out of input 1, and output 2 that of input 2 but at the same time?.... thanks!

Hello Ben, I also use mic/piezo system in my acoustic. I have a Felix 1, very interested in the Felix 2. Also: how did you install your DPA 4061 internally?

Thanks for the video! One question, if I have the pedal in "mix" mode and several pedals in the stereo effects loop... would the output for each DI (channel 1 and 2) be with the effect L for one DI and R for the other? , or mixed L/R for the two outputs? Thank you!

How does this sound using a mic for vocal and plugging in an acoustic guitar? Do you use the blender 'Mix' with that setup? Sounds great. I just want to be sure it is what I'm looking for and haven't seen much of anything with vocals. Thanks.

Thanks for the review :D One question. You mentioned that you wire the dpa to a stereo jack. Does this mean that you send phantom through your trs? Is that problem free? What cable do you use for this? Is it a custom build? Im looking at the same setup :D /Erik

Hi Erik, I have the DPA wired to the ring output of my jack - I think it's just two wires so 'live' to the ring and then the ground to the sleeve. Then I use the 12v from the Felix to power the mic... hope that helps?

Hey thanks, Im putting this system in my old j-35 now 😊 and my local guitar tech is wondering if you have the wiring schematics for the k&k and the dpa to trs solution? How did you get the dpa into the trs? Did you just cut it off an solder it on?
