This is the first in our series themed Grace for End time Empowerment. Titled ‘Grace for Salvation’, the session is focussed on helping us understand and maximise the grace of God that is extended to us for our salvation. At His ascension, Jesus promised us that we shall be empowered to be His witnesses as we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The grace of God is God’s unmerited favour, approval or acceptance extended to us whilst salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. The word salvation carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Our victory, however, is over sin and other satanic devices. We are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin. To make the most of the grace for salvation we must always remember that: we were once dead in sin; we are saved by His mercy to reign with Him; our salvation is a free gift of Grace that we receive by faith and we are saved to serve.
