Thanks Paul for what you said at 18:00. I am going through the same, and was feeling guilty.

Paul's definition of the "Power of the Lord" is all well and good, but I am looking for a God who makes a difference when and where "the tyre hits the road". Does that God exist? Because the God I have experienced is powerless to change anything that hurts or matters deeply to me.

The God who is Love changes you from the inside out. He will never FORCE Himself on you however true change happens as your RELATIONSHIP with Him becomes more intimate.

Overall very little "Grace for the day" content. But still got a thumbs up.

@ 32.00. I have heard Paul talk about Terry on several occasions, but he never tells us if Terry has tried to recompense his victims relatives in any way at all, or even if he has any empathy or compassion for them. Its all about how Terry's crime has affected Terry, and I find that unsettling, in the light of Terry "owning" his crime.

It is hard to know what anyone means sometimes by the words they use. I think the term "owning" and the other words used around the term indicate to me that he came to understand what he had done to some other person, I infer from that, that the intense conviction he felt included feeling the misery of the other. I am assuming the feeling of burning he described was some sought of anguish, some intense suffering, brought on by a new awareness. But I could be totally up the wrong tree. The only thing that is going to trump the tragedy, is the resurrection, ultimately, in my mind; until then I live surrounded by the collected tragedy of millions.

I would like to think that if Abu were really innocent, that God would not have allowed him to be locked up in the first place. To be released in his 70's is not justice, it's the action of an at best second class god.

May be hard to believe but there are lots of people in prison for things they didn’t do. Can’t blame god. Jesus was also crucified and yet they found no guilt in him.

I’ve noticed your comments in other channels and other videos that also watch. I’m inspired that you ask a lot of questions. I believe those that keep asking Jesus will answer and those that knock the door will be open. Keep seeking bro. Gods not a forsaker.

@@bluemagic9531 Thanks Blue Magic. I certainly hope so, as I am very confused as to the true nature of God. I have been praying that He reveal Himself to me. And that He help me to believe only the Truth.

I have to DISAGREE with Paul on ‘ideologies shouldn’t divide people’. When an ideology dehumanizes isn’t that where one should draw the line? When an ideology promotes sex with children shouldn’t one draw the line? I have seen this type ideology first hand in Talmudic teaching.

Does anyone who has taken a lifer deserve to be treated the same way as someone who is a law abiding citizen? I would hope not. At least not in a fair and just society.

Big difference between ‘punitive’ justice (our justice system) & RESTORATIVE justice (God’s). One cannot ‘judge’ what’s fair & just if they are not the Creator.
