Mutlu Sarıtaş For Kim, Kylie, Khloe, Kris, Kendall and Kourtney I can give you wayyyyy more, people that have done good or made art that kept/keeps the world going: Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Grace VanderWaal, Cyndi Lauper, Taylor Swift, Lizzo Adele, Whitney Houston, Aurora Aksnes, Amy Winehouse, Elton John, The Beatles, Queen, dodie, Patrick Martin, Sia, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Billy Joel, Buddy Holly, Madonna, ABBA, The Beach Boys, The Spice Girls, Barbra Streisand, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Willow Smith, Peter Paul and Mary. Some of them might not have been the hardest workers, and they’ve come from dozens of different generations and levels of success, but they have all contributed to life and made art for millions. James Catchot welcome to the family. We are going watch this , soon to be legend, go from a funny skinny quirky little girl to becoming a force of undescribable beauty and grace. Her story will surely be made into a movie someday. I just hope it has a happy ending. I think Grace does have the right skills to handle all these drastic changes in her developing life. But she really seems to be way to young to understand what's happening to her. Soon(probably already) she will not be able to be in public without being surrounded by body-guards. Everyone she meets will already know practically everything there is to know about her. She continues to impress me every time I see something new from her, wether it be a new song, a speech, performance etc whatever it is. If Grace created it or spoke it, etc it will be impressive. How could so many talents be contained in her tiny little body. I am amazed by her constantly.

I think Kelly Clarkson was crying because she knows exactly how hard that "1st year" is after you've won a reality tv talent competition and all is not smooth sailing but a series of hard bumps and bruises of people trying to cut you up. Grace spoke so eloquently and you can see in her eyes the joy and also deep pain of this "1st year" and the gratefulness to the people who have helped her along the journey thus far. I hope she never listens to the negative, only allow the positive to keep driving her throughout this amazing journey in the path she is on now. Kids stars don't always have "happy lives"...I hope in the end she can say it was all worth it. Hoping for a great life and career for this kid! :)

I know I'm nearly (not quite) 4 times Grace's age and I'm a guy, but I too find her such an inspiration! Such a GREAT roll-model for her younger fans to look up to as well as us, her older fans. I really like and admire how she hasn't let the industry mold her into the common bubblegum pop-star (that rebels and breaks out to be trouble later in life) but strives very stubbornly to stick to her own humble style, with lyrics that make us think and feel how much has gone into dreaming them up! There are days where I shuffle all her songs on repeat all day long without any guilt because there are no negative suggestions, but just good up-lifting music to sing along with, and that's such a great change compared to what all is out there. Yes, I believe she deserved this award and she can take her career just as far as she wants to go! She is one confident self-made young lady!

What we are witnessing is a birth of a new spirit in the music.industry. A little girl who touches souls across the world with lyrics and melody's that are simple and true. An emotional content that rips open your heart and injects her content directly into your soul. No flashing lights , no massive stage productions. Just Grace VanderWaal's music and stories. She is the spirit of music. And truly one of a kind.

What an acceptance speech! Everyone is moved by this young lady with so much poise, and the Oxford dictionary definition for poise, is GRACE. She touches everyone and her name shines through her soul. GRACE.

You know, I just cried like a baby. I watched her from the first performance on America’s got talent, and see how far she’s come, it’s incredible. She just keeps maturing, and she doesn’t use any gimmicks to do so. She is still as pure as the day she performed first, I am proud proud fan. I still listen to all her new songs, and they’re still all stuck in my head. She deserves that award more than anyone else. If there was an angel on this earth, her name would be Grace Vanderwaal.

Grace often talks about how nervous she is before she goes out on stage. But to get up in that room with just her voice, her ukelele and her words and to sing in front of them with no backup band to protect her. Well there is only one word for that. Fearless. Wow.

There is a mountain of love in that girl’s heart and a cray computer inside her head. It is as mind blowing listening to her talk as it is listening to her sing. People go through their entire lives striving for that kind of poise and maturity. It’s going to be fun watching her grow. I hope she stays close to the people who are important in her life and stays grounded. I think she will.

Just discovered this young lady - wow! Forging her own path with her own style, music, songs - it not only takes great talent but also GREAT courage. I quickly realised that this lady is a smart, articulate, contemplative and aware person. She says - "It's so easy to look past it, and let it all go into a blur, and not even realise what's happening" - to me, that says it all - She is a VERY intelligent, self aware young lady. Please Grace - DON'T be told by ANYONE, what you should do or be - seek your own path; just be Grace Vanderwaal.

She is so beautiful and deserves to be recognized for her amazing musical talent. To be ushered in so young must be life changing and incredibly stressful. At 13 I was playing with Transformers, it's hard to comprehend the pressures of stardom when you yourself are developing as a person.
