I can feel the excitement. We never get enough of Mt. Mayon. Grace is lucky to see its majestic glory on her first day. Many Filipinos would travel to Albay for days, and not have a chance to see the clouds clear up - to think its rainy season here.

There's a legend about the Mayon Volcano. The love story between Panganoron and Daragang Magayon. There was even a time where the ash cloud of Mayon Volcano formed a similar image of them. You can search for it if you want. It's so cool.

The Kagsawa Ruins is the remains of the bell tower of the church that was totally buried by the volcano's eruption hundreds of years ago. FYI Ms. Kim.

7:09 it’s the remaining bell tower of the church of Cagsawa buried in the flows of lavas during the 1814 devastating eruption that wiped out the entire community and buried also people who tried to climb up the tower for safety.

Kim that small stone structure in in Cagsawa is the bell tower of a church that was destroyed and buried during the eruption in 1814, that's why it's called Cagsawa Ruins nowadays,, u asked about the place,, it's town of Daraga, Province of Albay,,, Bicol Region has plenty of beautiful places to offer to a vlogger like u, stay safe,,

If you're looking for beaches you might wanna try province of Sorsogon probably 2 hrs away from where u are staying. Subic Matnog, Sorsogon or Dancalan Donsol, Sorsogon.

If you ever have time, visit the place called Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in bagac bataan, which is pretty close to manila. Btw, i love that you also tried traveling to the other part of luzon. Most of tourist just visits cebu and palawan and after that they leave. If you still have time, try visiting the nothern part of the country, especially batanes, ilocos region, and cordillera(mountainous) region.

Mayon used to be more pointy than it is now. Back in 2018 there was a bit of an eruption and a chunk of the crater came off. Glad it’s still a bit pointy.
