To all bicolanos it is just an ordinary scenery yes it a very active volcano and if tourist admire the beauty of it must wait if it is in a bad mood only. Japanese admire it during eruption

'mountain girl' but you missed the beautiful Mt.Province or just the Cordillera region in general up north, quite unique & different up there from most areas in the PH & great time to see the UNESCO rice terraces in the mountains because I believe its the planting season.

if you enjoy mountains, next time you should visit the mountain province region located north of luzon island. sagada would be the best place to start off that spiritual sojourn although bagiuo city would probably your jump off.

I'm sorry but you have not visited enough cities/provinces in the PH to say that, and the Albay/Legaspi region is not a mountain province, it just happen to have Mt. Mayon which is a volcano. I don't know if you are still in the country travelling?, but if you are. I urge you to travel to the Northern region of Luzon, where the mountains are located, there you will get to see the provinces of Benguet, Kalinga, Abra, Bontoc to name a few. Places like Baguio City, Banaue are no other places in the Philippines, because of its weather which has similar temps of San Francisco, and the landscapes are unforgettable I promise you'll be saying you are in the Real Mountain Paradise.
