I’ve used high end and inexpensive concealers, but the one I always go back to is the NYX Bare With Me serum concealer. That concealer really is the best. It is so creamy, silky, and actually moisturizes my mature under eyes. Now I don’t want to waste any more money trying out other concealers

Thank you!! I'm so tired of seeing these older youtubers(some over 60) using powder under their eyes. Just once, I want them to zoom in and see how dry their undereyes look with the powder on. On camera, from a distance, it looks better to set with powder. But there's no way it doesn't look dry on person. I feel that they're misleading people who might not know better. I would rather fix any creasing throughout the day than walk around with dry looking undereyes

The only powder I use to set the color corrector and concealer around my eyes is Rimmel's Stay Matte in Translucent. I apply it with a brush, so very little actually goes on. I'm 63, I wear self-darkening glasses and I maintain social distancing, so no one gets close enough to tell.

Thank you for the helpful tip. I agree about the Kosas shades being too yellow. For those more interested in non toxic formulas my holy grail thus far is Mineral fusion duo concealer in both Neutral and warm formulas. Now I can add that color corrector to the lighter shade that I never finish. By the way… mineral fusion is now carrying some of their concealers in a refillable quad. Happy concealing 😊🙏🏼💃🏽

I seen Elf has amazing color correctors also in that color and they are great also. Great hack. if your 50 years and above..try the BY TERRY DENSILISS CONCEALER, it has 6 perfect shades and it does help conceal darkness and wrinkles on the under eyes. its quite expensive, but it’s worth it.

The shade is truly important. I have had some real duds that make my eyes look tired. I am pretty fair and Kosas shade 1.5 works the best for me. It is considered a neutral, which is my undertone, but I see a tiny bit of peach. At first I didn’t like it but it is reflective and brightening. I have mixed with a L’Oréal Infallible shade that is too light and it works well in the winter when I am even more fair. Other times of the year it works on its own. I never powder under my eyes and find the Kosas formula stays put and doesn’t crease for about 4 or 5 hours. I seldom wear makeup any longer than that so can’t speak to longer wear time.

Great point! That's one thing I really appreciate about my Kosas concealer is never having to powder it. Plus it keeps my eyes from looking and feeling dry midday. I think if they come out with more peachy shades and less yellow ones, it could be one of my all times faves. 🤗

My husband and I both use Colorscience 3n1 on auto delivery. I received an email of price increase going up from $ 62.90 to $67.15 as of 1-1-23. Glad we use very little! It’s so expensive, but it does last us around 6-8 months. His dark circles are hereditary. Doesn’t get rid of them but does help! Sometimes If I need extra coverage I apply Tarte creaseless concealer or Milk Makeup Future Fluid all over cream concealer. ELF Camo concealer is another good one from the drugstore.

I’m using the it concealer, only a tini tiny dot and lightly set it with the hydra powder from by terry. And by lightly I mean lightly. I’m 43 and tested a lot lot lot 😂 this is for me the best combo I’ve ever tried no creasing what so ever. Lasts all day. No touch up needed and because you do need only the tiniest amount from both products it last me over a year. I have to buy a new concealer every year because it’s expired . I have more then the half tube left. So much pigmentation has the concealer. Love it.

The candid concealer you can fin it on Amazon. I use it combined with Milani concealer but everyday is more difficult to find it, for some reason in my case is the only one that works great on my dark circles. I apply it before the Milani one.

Genius. What a cool way to try to help those who can’t afford the colorescience. I am one of those people, however total eye is a staple in my collection. Like you, I spend more on skincare than makeup. My makeup now is my skincare. I just use colorescience tinted spf on my face w/total eye, then do my blush, bronzer and eye makeup. The day they make spf cream eyeshadow I’ll die. 😂

I am going to order the color science concealer because I keep hearing great things about it under your discount code. I just have to tell you again I cannot get over how great my skin is finally starting to look after using the night serum you did a video on 2 weeks ago! My mask acne is finally after 2.5yrs is healing very nicely. My face tolerates it to where I can actually use it every night, but I did skip one night. I use this too, but I find it's so full coverage that I need to thin it a bit on the back of my hand with a lightweight, milky consistency eye lotion before I apply it. More moisture is always good! I'm currently loving Simple brand Soothing Eye Balm, which I pick up in little tubes at TJMaxx/Marshalls whenever I see it for something like $3.99. On days when my darkness - oh the darkness! - is so obnoxious, I use a lip product by Wet N Wild - Cloud Pout Marshmallow Mouse in a coral color Marshmallow Madness thinned with this eye balm as a color corrector. The color of this product was all wrong for my lips, but I'm too cheap to throw any makeup product away without trying to find an alternate use. Most items that are more expensive I simply return, but this one works better than any color corrector I've ever used. And it's so cheap!

I totally had that same issue with a (certain unmentionable brand 😉) color corrector where I had to add quite a bit, to a foundation in this case, that was too light. And it just threw the consistency wayyy off. I got frustrated & never bothered trying to play mixologist again. I used to love the Revlon Candid concealer but can't find it anywhere, so I've switched to Elf's Hydrating Camo thinned with a little milky eye moisturizer to make the full coverage a lot less likely to crease. It was on sale at buy one get one for 40% off, so of course I got two! LOL. I also ordered the Dermelect Beauty Sleep Serum from your next video as well. It arrives today! I can’t wait to use it! I have a feeling that in a few weeks I’m going to like my skin a whole lot more! So this morning I pulled out my stash of concealers (was shocked at how many I had) and I played with the orange color corrector I found. Of all the choices I had, I ended up preferring the Maybelline Eraser better than even my Kosas concealer. The color blend was just perfect for my under eyes. I saw someone else mention it as well but the color corrector I used was LA Colors Conceal Correct in Peach. I think I also picked it up at the dollar store.

Not usually. I keep a MAC Blot Powder compact in my purse and a Colorescience Brush on SPF 50 powder but I don't typically use a face powder over foundation. Very rarely I will lightly dust my face with W3LL People Loose Powder but I can't remember the last time I did that. 🤗

Did you say you use the medium shade in the Color Science concelaer? I am a very similar skin tone and want to try it, but the light looks too light and the medium looks a bit too orangey...

Yes I have both shades but medium is my fave. Light looks almost white on me and no coverage but medium is perfect. It looks peach at 1st but then blends right into my skin and is perfection 🤗

I’ve given up on the idea of a Creaseless concealer. It’s just not realistic. So for me, it’s about finding one that covers, doesn’t accentuate any fine lines, is not too drying, and that lasts. They will all crease to some extent.

My Bestie had this for couple years, the Color Science Concealer and it being A mineral its naturally drying. I tried it and long story short I didn't purchase it. I like the ideal of the spf. too drying for me.

It's quite hydrating under my eyes. But I also add moisturizer under it so that always helps. 💜

The only concealer I've used is Elf Camo in Fair. Strangely enough, it was too fair. I've added a bit of medium concealer and like the color it gives me. I may look at the orange one, but probably won't buy.

For me the4e are some concealers that exaggerate creases more than others. Like within seconds of putting it on my lines are staring at me

good grief, I would never pay 74 dollars for a concealer!!! Fortunately I rarely get creasing in my underage are and I am 70 years old, I go very lightly.
