Going to try this today! I like the idea of using shadow as it is easier for me. I have deep set eyes with hoods at the outer corners. Worse than yours, but it is still nice to see someone who is closer to mine! If you have any other suggestions for the deep set, hooded eye, please let me know! Thank you for getting up and close!

@@GracefulBeautyWithSheri I tried it and it worked pretty well. I think I need to get the angle right--not go too low and drag my eye down, but also not go at too steep of an angle, which is what happens if I use the landmark of the tail of the brow. Due to my deep set eyes, my brow bone is prominent and there appears to be a lot of real estate between that bone and the bottom of my brow. I am going to keep trying to get the sweet spot!

Yes it can do that if your eyes are sensitive or some pencils can do that. It's not necessary to do that step though. If you get a good mascara and apply it super close to the root, that works too. 💗

I’m placing a The Ordinary order and will make sure to get the retinal emulsion. The ordinary’s website makes a regimen for you based on questions you answer. Mine was Alpha Arbutin + HA serum, balancing and clarifying serum, multi peptide + copper peptide serum, and of course a cleanser and moisturizer but I’m going to try vanicream for those. My concerns are there isn’t a vitamin c, are these ok to use together, or some only in the AM and others in the PM and which of these is an exfoliator?
@GracefulBeautyWithSheriАй бұрын
I enjoy using a Vit C most days but it's not 100% necessary. I'm not familiar with their clarifying serum. But that may be an exfoliator based on the name. I would look at the ingredients to see if it has what you're looking for. I also wouldn't start a bunch of new products all at once. Maybe 1 or 2 and that's it. You won't know what works best unless you slowly add a new product to your routine. Hope it works well for you.💜

@Theelizabethedit828 күн бұрын
It didn’t hurt. Just swollen. It doesn’t make you look different. You just look 25 again. You’ll still have hooded eyes. They just won’t be hanging because we’ve aged. Just see an ocular facial plastic. My insurance covered it. You won’t regret it. Promise. It seriously was the best thing I did. Now I’m going to do my lower. That isn’t covered by insurance 😂😂
@kristymitchell401421 күн бұрын
@@Theelizabethedit8 my lids have gotten so much more hooded recently. I’d love to get an upper eyelid bleph but can’t afford it unless it’s covered by insurance. Does your vision have to be obscured in order for insurance to pay?
@Theelizabethedit821 күн бұрын
Go to your eye dr.- an Ophthalmologist. Depending on the insurance, they may do a sight test. Tape to the eyes and then you look for dots then no tape and see if you can find the same dots. It’s not a real scientific test so I don’t know why they have that test in the first place because if your eyes aren’t taped, you can just miss a couple of dots purposely so it’s really dumb. But some insurances require it. Others just do it. Based on the droop. My insurance covered it. But it really isn’t very expensive to have done. It’s like 3,000 without insurance and I’m in Boston which is expensive
@kristymitchell401421 күн бұрын
@ thanks so much. I’m going to make an appointment and find out. My son lives in Boston so I know how expensive your cost of living is there. I appreciate your response and I’m so happy the procedure worked for you.
