I love the way you decorated. It truly looks like an effortless, classy fall. I love everything about it! Fall and these tough times our world is going through, reminds me of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. There is a season and purpose for everything. I have found that drawing in closer to him, just as a small child in uncertain situations, brings me peace and comfort. The Knowledge of Jesus is endless. It can be pondered on for as long as you desire. I think every setting in your house has a personal touch, thought and prayer. The color of green, black, white and gold so organic and soothing. I love pinstripes. And the grey white stripped accents. When I look at your house, I see a surprise wherever the eyes rest. To take the Light of the World into this gaze, I think you would get a giddy feeling, maybe a chuckle. Thank you God for this ministry. A breath of fresh air!!

Beautiful!!! Deena , thank you so much for sharing your home and encouraging us with Gods word. If we listen to all that is going on around us , we will fall into despair. It is enough with what life can hand us much less what is going on around us. I was encouraged and reminded that God is with us along this journey we call life. My husband is going on 15 years battling pancreatic cancer and just last week learned that there need to be an increase in chemo to fight once more it’s aggression. We stand in need of encouraging words and prayers. Thank you for sharing.

I am so sorry you are both facing such a horrific time. Sometimes words don’t seem to measure up and fail us in so many ways…this is one of those times. I wish I had the right words to say. I wish I could make this right and easy for you. I pray the Lord comfort you both and bring you a peace only He can during this time. I will pray for his body during his treatment. Your story of perseverance and fortitude is something to look up to. You’re both amazing to have fought through this the last 15 years. Oh Deena your pumpkin collection is beautiful. I too have added a few special pumpkin throughout the years. Your green velvet pumpkin( the one on the black rack by your sink) is gorgeous! I just decorated for Fall in our main living areas on Sunday! I didn’t do anything new from last year. I will now go back and tweak based on your ideas. I appreciate your showing the cleaning before decorating. Real life! Girl I found dust on top of dust when I removed everything on the tabletops! 😳 Please show how you pack up and store your seasonal decor. It’s a big job and I get tired and just want everything out of the house. I can’t find all of the Fall decor! Lol! Thanks

Thank you so much, Robin. Yes, that green one is one of my favorites. I actually have two I found them a couple years ago at Ross. I also have a gray one I found at hobby lobby last year. I am sure your living room looks amazing just the wary it is. But i understand, I will probably tweak mine here in there as well. Ha! Cleaning before decorating is a must around here. Oh, I will definitely try to remember to video packing it up and putting it all away. I’m hoping to invest in a couple tubs of this year. Right now I keep everything in boxes and I use a lot of tissue paper to pack it away. I always keep what the stores send it home in and reuse that over and over. I do use different color duck tapes two signify which holiday the box is for, so for fall it’s orange, for Christmas it’s green, and so on. But,Like you, I just wanna throw it in a box and get rid of it when I’m done. LOL! Have a wonderful evening, Robin..

So many clever ideas…thank you for sharing! I love what you’ve done to the area above your kitchen cabinets. I currently have roosters, chickens, eggs and greenery above mine and would like a change. I would like to make the change with the “French flair” as you’ve done. I have two Eiffel towers and could add topiary plants, baskets, and an urn as you did. I have a longer area and wonder what else I could use. My cabinets are white and the countertops are muddled gray and black granite.

Thank you so much, Kathy. Oh, thank you I love above our cabinets as well. Every now and then I think I should change it, but I still like the way it looks, so I leave it the same. It sounds like you have a good start. If your space is tall enough and allows for picture frames maybe you could put a couple of those up there as well. I painted over a very large canvas to make the one topiary print. Then the other is just an open frame and it’s mat painted black. I also have a clock up there and a couple little decorative pieces kind of like closed urn I guess you would call them. I also have a candle stick, moss balls and a tin piece from Hobby lobby. I think you could pretty much go with anything that suits your fancy. Have fun redoing yours I’m sure it will work amazing. Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful day.

Hello Debra. Thank you so much for your kind words. As for the drapes in our dining area they are made from fabric that I purchased at Hobby Lobby years ago. Unfortunately, they don’t sell the fabric any longer. I am so sorry! However I would check their fabric selection because I think they might have something similar.
