Beauty from beginning to end. But your spiritual words were so needed today, I have been packing and purging my home of 52 years, and will be moving in two weeks to be closer to my family. But it has been the most stressful time of my 73 year old life. I am praying that God wants this move for me, as I have been very unsettled in my heart. But maybe this is the first day of the rest of my life, and I will be happy.

Dear Deena, your decorating was again stunning. But you reading the hymn words was the greatest treasure. Two of my Christian friends have gone to be with Jesus in the last 10 days, one lady in her late 40s and one so suddenly in her late 50's. Please pray for me and others tomorrow after church who will be praying with those at the service who will only have just heard during it. We've been watching from Australia with great sadness the destruction the 2 hurricanes have caused across so many states over there. As a chaplain, has Ronny had to go down there? Now, your dining room turned out so beautifully. I would have never thought about using the leaves and branches from a magnolia tree to decorate with but you did and they are beautiful. I could watch you decorate all day. Your collection of candlesticks on your dining room table are just gorgeous with the different ribbons attached. I just love all of the layering you do and not everyone can achieve that look without it becoming messy but you can and do. My heart is heavy today looking at what Florida is facing today and tonight not to mention the loss of life and destruction from last weeks storms that hit so many people. Sweet Deena - what a beautiful song with a true and touching message. Thank you. Love your decorating so much. It is just about opposite of mine. I like a more clean and tailored took. Maybe traditional may be a better description but I love to see what you do and the overall affect. You are truly talented. You have influenced me however over the years. You have influence me to think out of the box. I had a very large vase that some people had sent me some beautiful roses in when I was sick. I filled it with all kind of leaves and small pumpkins and other things. I would’ve never thought to do that before. So even if we have different styles your influence is felt and your ideas are appreciated. I can’t quit thinking about these poor people hit by these horrible hurricanes. I’m still doing repairs here from our July 8 hurricane.. as I was driving to pick up my groceries yesterday and I noticed the difference in landscape in our area after the storm. Landmarks that are not there anymore. Restaurants that have not opened back up and will not open. Just so sad. But we will trust the Lord and praise him no matter what. Love in Christ

I honestly have no worries about the bust in our home because I don’t think of them as anything but decor bust. In my eyes there is only one God and that is it. So, to have these in our home is no threat at all. They are simply decor, just like the books they are placed upon. I think if there were any question in my mind, that would be a different story and I would have to really think about that, but I think we’re safe.
