Hi Deena, those were some really cute gift ideas. Thank you as always for the inspiration. You never fail. Rachel, my 26-year-old granddaughter, And I went to Hobby lobby on Friday and had so much fun. We always get a puzzle each year to put together. We’ve been doing that since she was little. I also got some picture frames that were damaged when a tree fell on the roof during the hurricane. But I enjoyed looking at the things. It was really fun to get out. I have to use a Rollator now that’s kind of like a walker but it has a seat. So I can’t really push a basket too. So it’s fun that Rachel went with me where we could do some shopping. Then we went to eat Mexican food which we love. She came over yesterday after work and help me decorate a few of the places that are too high up for me to get to. She had already brought all the Christmas stuff in last Friday. She is such an angel and so good to her grandmother. We have had an extremely close relationship all her life. when I was still working I would stop every Friday on the way home and pick her up to spend the weekend. We did that for years and years. Of course my two daughters are so good to me also. I’m truly blessed. Deena have you ever watched a channel called a little blue fly. Her decorating reminds me of the things you like. She does French country. You might enjoy seeing that. You are so precious and bring so much joy to everyone especially me. Love in Christ

My parents always took our boys on Friday too and we would get a call every Saturday asking if they could stay and see us on church on Sunday. Lol. I sure miss my parents being here. You know, that and the fact that not all HomeGoods are going to have the same items is the reason I really have a hard time going there. But, some had asked specifically so I went. But, I think the gift ideas can kind of be purchased anywhere. I’m so glad you liked the ideas. I think we all draw a blank sometimes. Our minds are overloaded by that point. Lol. Have a great day.

Nice gift ideas and groupings. My family is heartbroken that on Friday, our 8 yr old choc lab, Drake, was not well after being g his usual self day before. He was diagnosed with a large cancerous growth on his spleen that we were unaware of and it had ruptured. We are so shocked and no warning. We did get to say our goodbyes but it’s very hard. The same for people too when they leave us so quickly. Everywhere I look our fur baby should be. 💔 My daughter’s Frenchie, Jax, was his good friend and companion too. And my 5 yr old granddaughter grew up with Drake, so she is trying to understand also. Luv those pets and friends and family because we just don’t know what is around the corner. ♥️🙏🇺🇸🐾💔

Oh Cheryl, I am so very sorry for your loss and in such an all the sudden way. I know your hearts just have to be torn in half. The love we share for our fur babies, sometime I’m not sure it’s healthy. We love them so much. I’m sure it’s because they do nothing but love us so so much. My heart and prayers are with you. Deena, I love silver and white items you shared. I’ve used silver, gray and white in my decor at Christmas for the past several years and decided to change to “pink glam” since you featured pink items from Hobby Lobby. I am excited to make a change. I’ve ready done a “test set up” on my foyer buffet and bought pink ornaments for my table tree as well as a pink poinsettia from Trader Joe’s. I’d love to find some pink pillows for the couch and pink tablecloth but it is a challenge this time of year. I haven’t decided about the mantle area but may just go with the frameless candles trimmed in gold which I bought from Costco. Perhaps I could find something pink to sprinkle in.

Hello! Awww, thank you so much. Yes, the summer pot is wonderful. I’ve been using mine the last few days. The spices I used were anise seed ( couldn’t find the stars) nutmeg, and cloves.
