After Ashley said *”If we never see those kids again”* I lost interest in her. She’s not as bad as Tyler but her morals and ethics are in the toilet. Whether she liked it or not, Ashley became an INSTANT stepmother of 3 when she married Tyler.

LIB has become a dangerous game. Recruiters seem to not do proper background checks, putting women in danger. The nature of the show also attracts attention seekers who dont want to quit, so they'd rather marry crazy people than just bow out. We have to accept it: love is NOT blind. And love is not a game to be won, either.
@joandolliedoyle7753 күн бұрын
I agree. I think as a concept it doesn’t work. However it would seem some basic checks would have revealed Tyler as he truly was. I have to say, he was very convincing in the beginning. I think we were all so concerned for Ashley and believed she would send him packing. Only she can say why she continued when all evidence showed he was a person who would take advantage of others.

It’s naive to believe that they aren’t doing background checks. They are! They just don’t care. It’s more drama for them

I think she finally realized he was a hobosexual and she was financially carrying the relationship. With the looming court dates for child support and the realization that he is actually the dad and her wages could be garnished she probably could not financially support Tyler anymore. He probably owes her money. Remember he was homeless and got evicted not long before the show. I can imagine he was not bringing in any money and she was paying everything herself.

Girl you gotta watch Jessie Woo and Storytime w Rikkii. Ashley hasn’t files for divorce yet. Tyler couldn’t pay his lawyer for the child support case. This is just the beginning! And I think you just answered the question about Tyler’s hookup on NYE. If he was hanging out with Mario Lopez, then there’s definitely some evidence. But I guess it doesn’t matter. This is whole thing is a mess

She's probably leaving because his lawyers in the child support case have just dropped him and he's about to be ordered to pay alot of money he owes to Brie, and she knows that this financial burden (if she stays with him) will fall on her shoulders.
@esmi013621 сағат бұрын
Came here to comment this. When she realized she was going to be his benefactor/sugar mama instead of his wife, ~that's~ when she decides to drop him like a hot rock. This wasn't a case of his lack of morals ending this marriage, she did it to preserve her wallet. I don't think there's any coming back from how she humiliated herself. The public cheered for her so hard, and she torched everything for this scum.
@devochkadee21 сағат бұрын
@esmi0136 100% i think there was a possibility she'd be willing to grin and bear being his sugar mama, but when she realized she'll have to finance his legal fees, unpaid child support, money he owes left and right, and there's no financial incentive to stay together as they're not a celebrated couple... well it's just simple math.

They probably dont officially do background checks but a lot of them find the cast on social media meaning they have seen their profile and pictures. I dont doubt that they check out of curiousity as most people do when they hire people.
@kiam62183 күн бұрын
I feel like these shows are a lot like dating apps. It’s up to you to do your “due diligence” to make sure you know who you’re with. Ashley specifically said she did a background check and she knew everything before she married him. She went out of her way NOT to talk to the children’s mother. We can’t always blame the show.
@suras89843 күн бұрын
@ You are completely right about Ashley and her responsibility to do her own due diligence. But because this is a show to rush the process of marriage which is a contract with major legal and financial ramifications, I think there are things that the contestant should know before agreeing to a proposal. Production knew because he had his kids posted on social media and that is usually how they find contestants.Ashley was told about the existence of children only after she had clearly had sex with him already and Im sure she did not know that he had had 8 evictions and one right before the show. I doubt she would have continued the relationship if she had found out prior to having sex with him. Because the show is rushing marriage they should do basic background checks to make sure the contestants are financially healthy and have a clean record.
@kiam62183 күн бұрын
@@suras8984 Ashley was given her phone back after the pods. She said she had a friend do a complete background check on Tyler and she knew everything. She even said people were insulting her intellect by thinking she didn’t know. I’m sorry, this one is on her.

What’s that expression.. “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”? It sucks that he duped her on the show and that LIB didn’t do a background check, but when she found everything out she still chose to defend him, stay with him, and lash out at unmarried women that tried to warn her, so that’s all completely on her. Hard to feel bad now 🤷🏼♀️

i know this isn’t related to the video, but i kept seeing people talk about the book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane in the comments of so many videos. at first, i thought it was just hype, but i gave in and read it. honestly, it’s been a game-changer. it’s not just about “thinking positive”-it really breaks down how to align your energy with what you want in a way that feels real. seeing little shifts in my own life now, i can see why so many people swear by it.

Chelsea, Jessica, the list goes on of prior messes that didn't get the brand deals and spotlight due to foolishness. In this case, I don't believe it had anything to do with her being a black woman. People were really rooting for her at first, but her defending a man that she knew willingly abandoned his children is a shame she brought onto herself.
