@@cheery-hex I personally liked LIB Brazil and Sweden. They were such much more authentic, honest and real. I felt like I was watching real relationships unfold, and not just contrived drama. The US show is too "influencer" focussed and on making characters and drama, and that's how the narrative is driven. So you can't really be sure if the people even feel anything for each other - which is what LIB Germany was. Don't get me wrong, at least the drama contrived in the US one is entertaining. This Germany one was just....bad....

i was shocked a love is blind germany season ever got approved because the german dating scene is notoriously and especially bad. also the concept of LIB is not as translatable in Europe. If you date in Europe, people don’t typically even say I love you until after a year of dating and in the US it’s like 3-4 weeks in people saying I love you. Also in Germany it’s more than normal and common to date someone for 6-10 years before getting married. Versus in the US, you have people go on the ultimatum after 1.5-2 years. Just a different culture surrounding getting married in Germany than in the US or even UK

As a german native, the dub is so weird to me. The original way these people talk sounds nothing like it, it makes them seem like different people. I think it's especially important because their pronounciation, choice of words, dialect etc. match the partner they chose, almost every single couple is unique from the others but alike to their partner when it comes to sound and I think it is an important detail why they might have chosen one another.

It’s bad everywhere because selfishness isn’t determined by your location.. No culture is a monolith no matter what part of the world they live in and only people that think other countries are better as far as “treatment” are people that haven’t met people from other races/countries. Yes it's true but your point of view focuses more on Ilias than Hanni while Ilias was lost because of Hanni's seduction who clearly showed interest in Ilias from the first discussion. Her attitude and body language show that she was hesitating between him and Daniel. She opened a door that she shouldn't have opened, she played with Ilias' feelings with great pleasure, it amused her while Ilias was disturbed. The provocateur, the instigator is Hanni not Ilias. oh wow i didnt know the english synchros were this bad tbh! some of the scenes have a totally different vibe in german - for example ilias telling alina he loves her at that point sounds wayy more sincere and concious of having fucked up previously than the english guy made it sound (not saying they're my alltimefaves haha), and when fabio talked to alberta it was actually even worse, his exact words in english would be "but noow, i am choosing -you-! " it was those words and it sounded exactly like what that looks like: him thinking alberta is basically a kid he picks up from kindergarden that had asked for sweets and will get them after dinner

@@Grace-e3d6r ich finde die haben eine ganz komische Art Sachen auszusprechen und die Worte die die benutzen sind auch komisch. Es klingt einfach wie ein aufgesetzter, gezwungener "Akzent". Wie so ein Influencer-Akzent oder so, kann das schwer beschreiben. Aber ich fand die einfach alle mega unsympathisch, befremdlich und unecht. Die einzige die mir ein wenig sympathisch war, war die Frau von dem Typen der immer so gruselig gestarrt hat. Die war irgendwie noch fast normal. Der Rest mega künstlich und aufgesetzt. So redet doch keiner lol wenigstens nicht wo ich weg komme

Legitimate question (and not looking for hate, please don't post hateful comments): How many people think Hani is physically very attractive? Take into account that she puts a lot of effort into her appearance, we literally never see her natural and without any make up or extensions, and wears very revealing clothing. I thought Jen was the most attractive woman naturally, we see her natural often. And when Alina had her make-up and hair done for her wedding, she was absolutely stunning. So why does it feel like the show is almost trying to force perspective as if Hani is some knock out and better looking than everyone? Does anyone feel the show was forcing this view too?

I think Hanni walks with a bravado that says everyone look at me! And she likes attention she said on the reunion she wants a career in tv. The other women are just as beautiful! Even more so, but have a simple natural humility to them. Hanni has a lot of Ego and belief about herself which drives that thought into other people’s mind that she’s all that. That’s what this world recognises as power and beauty.
