If I had jiu jitsu at 14 I would have avoided a lot of trouble. I'm just starting at age 27. I've struggled with being obese and impoverished and I am trying to work on losing weight while doing something I really like doing. I'm using the energy and drive that jiu jitsu gives me to get in a better financial situation so that I can afford to train at an academy.
