I have a friend who's a personal chef! She told me that a private chef will be employed full-time by one family/person and available all day, while a personal chef can have several clients. She has a few who live in the same area as her, and they pre-approve menus in advance. She then meal preps for them in a kitchen space she rents (that's where we met!) and delivers their food, so she's not responsible for their shopping or anything like that. If I remember right she brings a few days' worth all at once for some people, especially if they have kids who need lunches ready to go. For others she brings the meals at a fixed time, and might make things like smoothies in their kitchen or even stay a few nights a week to cook dinner. She can also be booked in advance if they have a special occasion.

Grace, I’m a barista! I believe the way you steam your milk gives you too much foam for you to be able to draw anything in your coffee. You need a very glossy/shiny milk where the bubbles are broken down/incorporated throughout the whole milk(there are many tutorials on how to achieve that microfoam, but, when you’re steaming, you basically need to create a whirlpool in your milk after incorporating air into it) Then you’ll have a better chance:) (Also whole milk makes it easier)

hi grace! about the latte-art thing, the main thing to focus on is the milk foam, I believe the machine froths it a bit too thick and it has to be smooth, without any bubbles, so you could hold it up in a bit of an angle to make sure the air flow is consistent. from there on it will be smooth sailing

easy step by step latte art: 1. heat your milk until the point it gets too hot to touch, not boiling hot. i would say around 70-85C 2. take the milk and spin it to air distribute the foam, then knock the milk onto the counter with a hand above it so you don't make a big mess 3. tilt the cup of espresso and pour SLOWLY from low to high to (as you would draw by pressing harder or softer the depper the color needs to be) high pour= no art/light shades low pour= deep white/vibrant shades
