You can bake the spaghetti squash, remove the seeds, then use a fork to pull out the inside. It's stringy and looks like spaghetti. Eat it with your favorite pasta sauce, salt & butter or oil & vinegar. As for the fennel, cut the roots off, then wash it & slice it up and you can eat it raw. My daughter's Italian born mother in law serves it after dinner. It's got a slight anise/licorice flavor and is known to aide digestion. I bet your Mom would like it.

@17517319 I never was much of a fan of carrots either until I had them at a restaurant a few years back where they were PROPERLY cooked with amazing seasoning! It turns out pretty much every vegetable is amazing as long as it’s cooked and seasoned properly! This restaurant cooked these baby carrots to perfection to where they weren’t too soft and not too hard, and they were roasted with a ton of butter and loads of minced garlic and some other seasonings I wish I knew (probably had some MSG on it, because I honestly could inhale 10 tons of them if given the option, and I know MSG will do that to ya lol!). It was at an Italian restaurant. They cooked the fresh green beans the same way, with the same seasonings. DELISH!

I was just thinking about this last night and how the problem with english/american vegetables is we literally just take vegetables and throw them on the side of the dish. most other cultures incorporate them INTO the dishes. you should try that more, if you haven't, like curries, vegetable risottos, stir-fried meals, bibimbap... if you look to other cultures, the opportunities are endless.

I can't eat hard boiled eggs (or soft boiled, for that matter) because if the yolk is not mixed in, I don't know what to do with it. It's awkward. I have nightmare feelings about gritty egg yolk on my tongue.... I'm fine with deviled eggs, because the yolks are made into a creamish sort of thing. But even then, I'm on again, off again with eggs....

I ate wild gooseberries as a kid so when I saw the size of your supermarket gooseberries, I thought they looked gigantic! Our wild ones were more the size of small blueberries. They were extremely sour when green but eventually ripened to a reddish or purple color. Though sweeter when ripe, they were often too mushy, kind of like an over ripe tomato. I’m pretty sure your store’s gooseberries have been modified to increase size and possibly taste.

An old friend introduced me to something her dad called a Stottie (i dunno if it is, i've heard the term used for other things too). So you get your potato cakes, you slather on some butter, microwave for about a min, put on some ham, then some cheese, pop it back in to melt the cheese... And then she said to add sweet chilli sauce. I was really sceptical, but i actually really love it :D

If you actually pay attention to it, you can see she touches her face a lot!! She needs to stop. I think that's what's really making it worse, she needs to wear mittens hahaha. I hope she finds something that helps for her.

Hiii! *^* first of all, I love your videos, they are so funny and you are so lovely, you make my day!*^* As an Italian I can 100% tell you that the pesto you bought is not a thing here in Italy, I don't thing it is Italian at all at all XD but it actually looked pretty tasty, you inspired me to try it! XD Also, I love how you say "gnocchi", I find it really cute! (ps: sorry for bad English in case I wrote some nonsense XD)
