Yeah how do you get food?? We are all being told not to go crazy and panic buy because it's messing with the supply chain and stripping the supermarket shelves. But what are we meant to do? Do you have food in the house? Are you allowed to get groceries delivered?

I think there is a difference btw lockdown and isolation. Here in Belgium lockdown means that all schools are closed, all gathering of any sort are forbidden, stores stay open during the week but on the weekend only necessities aka pharmacy amd groceries. You can also only get take out (can't go o the restaurant anymore), clubs and bars are closed Every country handles this differently i think. IMO closing unis but keeping classes going online while the pupils have basically 3 weeks of holidays sucks 😅😅

Just did some research, and apparently nail polish remover bread happens because, the wild yeast can contain endomycopsis which is used to make the bread, and it can convert the starch into acetone and give a nail polish remover taste and Oder the bread gives off!

So that bread story reminded me of this anecdote. (it's not fully the same experience but its similar). I was at my mum and dads house during Christmas night and we usually have cold turkey sandwiches (which is my dad's job to make). Anyway, my dad had had a shower and a shave etc and made the turkey sandwiches for me and my mum, I bit into it and it just tasted of pure chemical, like nail varnish, or something. Turns out, he had used aftershave (obviously after his shave) and then made us the sandwiches. He pressed his hand into the top slices when cutting, so it just absorbed it and tasted of aftershave. This was 8 years ago. I still refuse to let him make those Christmas turkey sandwiches now.
