Elle Lindquist Make sure you read your latch system weight limit when rear-facing. Because if it's 40 lb that's 40 lb including child and carseat, not just the child. If both car seat and child weigh more than 40 you have to use the seat belt strap

You and I are on the same brainwave this week! Your videos have been so helpful for me! I was just searching through car seats for my 9 month old! Her little feet are dangling off her infant car seat and it's just way too heavy to tote around now, time for an upgrade! I just got this car seat for my one year old this week. He is a tall child and outgrew his first car seat height wise. We are still struggling with installation because we have a smaller car, but this review made it a lot easier to understand!

I have this car seat and I absolutely love it! I would highly highly recommend it to anybody! I actually started using it when my daughter was four months old and we will be able to continue to use it for a long time, definitely a great buy!

Love the strap feature!!! Buckles are always so cumbersome! The no more threading the straps was game changer (also on several seats now including our Chicco and your Britax). Nice review....looks a bit wide, but lighter so that might be a plus

I just switched to this carseat. And I love it! I have a standard infant carseat before and at almost 8 months my son already was too tall for it 😮.

We just bought the same one for our tall toddler. He loves it. It came recommended by a Car Seat installation tech. Always nice to see reviews from other moms too. :)

I'm so glad you did this review! We were looking into getting this car seat but my oldest is really tall and our youngest is also a pretty big guy and we want to keep him comfortably rear facing as long as possible. And I can't believe it can last up to 10 years! It pretty much pays for itself!

I wish they had car seats like that when my kids were little!! The no-fuss harness straps were the biggest selling point! It's hard to put a toddler in a car seat if they're flailing because they don't want to sit in it! Lol ! That makes it so much easier! The only thing that bugs me is how many car seats get thrown out because no one wants them! Now car seats are getting technological, too! I'm amazed, though! ☺

RaeDean Kendall Graco car seats are nice but I have found Britax with it’s safe cell technology to be ahead of them as well as the Nuna Rava and the Clek. you can actually recycle your Clek when you are done with it.

To loosen the harness do you push the tab down or pull it up? On the contender 65 you can pull it or push it and I really like that feature since it is easier to pull up.

I have the 4Ever version of this, which just adds in the high back/backless booster, otherwise they're the same. So glad you gave it such a rave review! And Forde, too! I totally didn't realize it had the fuss free pocket for the buckles, I had to go out and check if mine had that and it does. Awesome! It just got even better! So, thank you!! 😂👍🏻

Wendye Roche leg room is not a reason to turn a child forward facing. They find ways to get comfy and Forde looked perfect and safe in this seat!

Wendye Roche leg injuries are really unlikely and if they have a leg injury, it’s better than a broken neck. Please do research. And forward facing is 75% less safe than rear facing for children under age 4. I won’t have a child under four in my car unless they are in a rear facing seat other than a Graco seat. I do not feel Graco is as safe as Britax, Nuna or some other brands
