By far the best video for this chair! Yes, she’s a bit too fast, and lacks the initial attention to the fabric hooks, but once you’ve been able to get through it, I have used it as my guide each time!

Pro-tip for anyone with larger hands or fingers. Use a small (3-4mm) crochet hook for the little elastics. It really helps.

In case you're still trying to clean it and yours has those plastic bars, I used a long flathead screwdriver to give leverage on the whole bar at one time and it popped out pretty easily that way.

I have the grace Extend 2fit and the graco 4in1 deluxe for my twins. The cover on this one is awful to get on and off to clean as this video shows. The 4in1 cover slides right on and right off within a minute. The point is if you have messy toddlers go with the 4in1. They’re both highly rated car seats.

it would be really helpful to note that the splitter plate is on the other end of the tightening strap. for those of us who are doing this for the first time and can’t find it after being instructed to pull the tightening cord all the way through, it would be nice to know.

Its at the end of the strap you pull alllll the way out to make it its loosest point. Flip it upside down and put a light on it. Ive been looking for it for about an hour now until i saw this comment. Thought i dropped it when cleaning

The video doesn’t show or mention one of the important steps which can be hard to figure out. The plastic tabs on the seat cover that go into the base. They don’t show that step whem taking the cover out or putting back in.

I couldnt figure this out. I guess to own this seat you need more than a bachelors in mechanical enginering from MIT. I'll buy a different seat. Also the model in the video should have a child covered in something while she does it.

JaNette Lefkowitz It’s easy once you know what to do. First time, you have to pull the tabs hard. Later they will get easier to remove as they get loose over time. I will see if i can post a video here of that stepZ

I don't think you addressed the straps right above either side of the warning label. The back part right below the headrest has elastic straps and I cannot see where they attach.

Question! On the top of the warning label piece that goes on their back… part of the head piece, there are loops but I do not see anything to connect those to. I’ve watched multiple videos & no one address these.

None of their videos show the Extend2fit 3-in-1. I had a hard time figuring out removing the snaps. Even their customer service pointed me to this video. They also didn't have a clue. I had to point them to the manual to see that the 3-in-1 is little different. Finally, I was able to remove it by pulling hard on the snaps. Earlier, I was afraid that I will break something or tear the cover.

She doesn’t go over these two other elastics on the head rest that form a slot for the shoulder straps to go through. They should attach to the hooks somewhere but since she doesn’t unclip them here, it doesn’t show where they go! I have two elastics and no hooks to connect them to anywhere. Ugh!

Anyone doing this for the first time - get a small flathead screwdriver to help push the straps through the very narrow plastic slits facing the back of the seat. Not sure why they couldn’t have put those slits a hair down so the strap isn’t immediately bumping up against the metal bar on its way out the back, but ya know. Whatevs.

Oh fucking hell. After removing this (for the first time in 6 years... It was in storage for over 2 years and very grungy, c'mon taking apart carseats is a bitch and it's never a good time to do it. I want a car seat that has an EASILY removable cover that doesn't require taking it out. Just saying). I've done this once with a Chicco fit2 and reassembly was so frustrating but THIS ONE has so many micro hooks that require finger nails, dexterity and patience).
