Walmart has a Graco True3fit (Walmart’s version of the Slimfit3 LX) with an anti rebound bar! That takes care of pretty much the only negative with this car seat. Should be much easier to install than a Diono in pretty much any vehicle, and hopefully take up much less front to back space than a Clek.

Nice review. I thought I was installing it wrong in rear facing when I was able to move it forward and backwards. I wasn't aware of the no anti rebound feature. Not sure if I should return it.

So as long as the seat isn't moving more than an inch at its installation point (the fixed portion of the belt where it attaches to the vehicle seat) it is correctly installed and passes the correct testing to be considered safe. Rebound features are awesome but you can still feel like a wonderful caring parent even if your seat doesn't have it. Just make sure your seat is correctly installed and you are following best practice by maxing out the height and weight capacity in it's rear facing mode.

I’m looking for a good long lasting car seat I can use for my baby and toddler. I’ve seen lots of reviews for people loving this for their toddler, but has anyone used this for their infant?

Hi there, do you know when you can take the thick removable sitting pad off the chair?! Our daughter is 6 months old and she kinda sitts weird with it installed.

I would encourage you to look in your manual and consult Graco. Some brands are really fussy and want that pad in there very specifically and others are like take it out when it suits you. Graco will know best and their number is 1-800-345-4109. Hopefully you can take it out now based on what they say :)

I feel like my anchor strap looses as I test it. Should I just install using the seatbelt and be done? It's just that the anchor strap doesn't have any lock to stop the strap for loosening.... paranoid first time mom

I would contact Graco customer service. They will have Car Seat techs more familiar with that seat and that can better assess and diagnose what is going on with it. 1-800-345-4109 Best of luck!

I just purchased this and I am questioning the recline feature on this for both directions. When rear facing, if it it so tight against the seat you have to Uninstall each time you want to adjust the recline and same for front facing because it's strapped from the back to the back Ancor of the vehicle seat WITH the shoulder/lap belt also making it impossible to recline. Correct?

So this seat like most car seats you set the recline level prior to installing it. The only seats that I know of that have adjustable recline while the seat is installed is the clek foonf, the nuna revv, the graco turn 2 me, and some booster seats (nuna, clek, peg). So you are totally correct that this seat would need the recline adjusted prior to installation. Again MOST seats are like that so it's more uncommon to have one that adjusts while installed :)
