$700 a week during training, and we accept many who already have their CDL. Stevens even dose some reimbursement for CDL school.

Don't stress about the Pretrip just yet. (I worried and tried watching everything on KZbin....bad idea, cause it will give you wrong/miss information) They will teach you exactly how to pass the pretrip, word for word. (I will also be doing a video on exactly how I passed PERFECTLY, word for word.)

I’m going to stevens on the 4th of April..I have my Permit already.how does that work going in with a permit and most people are getting their permit first. Thanks in advance

Awesome!!! It should shorten the process by a week. Usually the first week is spent studying and taking the permit.

I was wondering about the pay? And also the time home. I'm about to start my paid training for 4 weeks and once I pass that I will be going orientation.

The paid Training after Orientation is $600 per week, about $480 after taxes.

@@emmanuelsinclair1234 I will most definitely continue making videos!!!! Yes, OTR is one day of home time (on average) for every 7 days worked. Once employed and good reputation is earned, many are able to get either a dedicated route, or railyard/port routse MAY keep them closer/get them home more often. Typically, out 3-5 weeks, then home time of 3-5 days. (Depending on the driver/preference.

Stevens trucks are automatic or manual? While in school did they train you in both? Thanks!

Stevens are all automatic as are most large carriers. Saves fuel by getting much better MPGs. On the Stevens side of Lone Star College they teach Auto only, I'm not sure about the other programs they have.
