While experience was not necessary for most of the programs I applied to, I believe it helped me stand out. During my junior-senior year of undergrad, I worked in a behavioral management program for children with ADHD and chose to take a practicum course at my school instead of another capstone course. This allowed me to shadow a clinical psychologist my whole senior year. My interview is in two days and I am hoping for the best!
