What is the name of the fonts you use on most of your assignments for your students you create?

That assessment format sounds great. I like that you can resubmit assessments! Keep plugging away-you’ll be finished before you know it.

This would be really cool if there was a certification option.
@PocketfulofPrimary6 жыл бұрын
Most degrees that I am aware of do not lead to certification since every state has different certification requirements. My undergraduate degree (even though it was in the same state as the one I am teaching in) did not lead to certification. That is an extra step you have to complete on your own in the state you are teaching in.

Would you honestly be doing this program if you weren’t compensated? I really want to know if you think it would be worth its cost.
@PocketfulofPrimary6 жыл бұрын
Tanya Hobson-Begraft Yes, I absolutely would be! Since you pay per term instead of per credit hour, the faster you complete your degree, the cheaper it is. Since I am an overachiever and enjoy working ahead, this format is perfect for me. Plus the flexibility is ideal for teachers. I truly could not get my masters right now if it weren’t for the structure of FlexPath!

Totally unrelated to the video, but what is the App you use to communicate with parents for your class? I remember you saying one a while ago in a video, but I can't remember what it is or which video to look in! 😂 I'm so teacher tired right now, I'm looking forward to Christmas break!
@PocketfulofPrimary6 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure exactly what app you are referring to. I don't currently use an app to communicate with parents so it must have been a very old video. I used Class Dojo when I taught second grade... maybe that is what you are referring to?
@kristinchappell66776 жыл бұрын
Probably... I could also be thinking of another KZbinr too. It's a good thing it's Christmas break right now 😂 I needed a break

How expensive is the tuition for your program?
@PocketfulofPrimary6 жыл бұрын
Here is a link the details out the tuition for the program: www.capella.edu/tuition-financial-aid/tuition-fees/ For the FlexPath option for your masters degree, the tuition ranges from $2,300-$2,700 for a 12-week billing session. During that 12 weeks, you are able to complete as many courses as you can! The faster you complete your courses, the cheaper your masters degree will be!

Hi michele, this is unrelated to this video but i am currently a sophomore in highschool and have wanted to become a teacher, or at least work with kids since kindergarten. I push myself very hard and take loads of AP and honors courses and manage to get a 4.0. Is there any advice that you can give me? Should i stick with the AP and Honors Courses or slow it does if i don’t necessarily want to go to an “Ivy League” college.
@OmniHeIix6 жыл бұрын
Kayla, taking AP or honors courses will always benefit you, regardless if you want to go to an Ivy league college or not. Taking those courses will only set you up for better success when taking college level courses. Keep working hard. Take the hardest courses that you can succeed in, and be a step above the rest as you enter college.

Hello I’m new I love teacher channels like the teacher who gives handshakes one Yet u seem like a nice teacher also fun fact about me: My 8th Grade math teacher got fired or arrested after two weeks of school due to abuse to a child now we have our brand new teacher who is nice But back to you: U seem nice and don’t go overboard like stop class and send the student has bad behavior to the principal. Well my school has had that happen before
