I love this series and i have this crossover video saved on my acc that looks like a Dragon quest crossover like the final fantasy dissidia or w/e it was called. and i would love to play that if it ever came out

Sugiyama's tunes were always a little simpler-sounding than stuff you'd get from Capcom or Konami back in the day, but they definitely have their own kind of complexity. DQ1's music might have been iconic, but DQ2 is probably where it got really good.

its actually wierd to me because the DQ series in japan was ahead of the US so i dont even know which one this one was in relative to its sister game for the US but they were all good played tham all the way up to DQ8 i still have for the playstation

Most Famicom games released in Japan and such, were originally better overall than the U.S. versions were. But this still sounds incredible.

Ironically, NoA (or Enix) gave DQ1&2 a MAJOR overhaul for english audiences. Still surprised they never rereleased them in Japan as "Dragon Warrior USA" lmao

Uhhhhh Daniel Zavesky, the numbers in Japan are the same as those in the US; we just didn't originally get DQ5 and 6. DQ1, 2, 3, and 4 were all Famicom games released here in order as DW1, 2, 3, and 4. DQ7 for the Playstation was released here as DW7, while DQ8 for the PS2 was released here as DQ8 (dropping the "Warrior" title.)
Shittier quality than the NES version. Whsts wrong with this?

What the fuck are you talking about? This is literally the same exact thing. You're either an idiot, or your misplaced nostalgia is lying to you or your memory is bad.

They are literally exactly the same. It isn't Castlevania.
