Both can be correct. Iba iba sinasabi ng sources/books eh. Basically kaya sya no image formed kasi sobrang layo ng image (at infinity), di na kayang maidrawing sa ray diagram na limited sa drawing space.

Very good question nak. Negative is a sign convention in mirrors which mean that the image is virtual or formed at the back of the mirror. Since sa letter a) tinatanong ang distance between the shopper and the image, we add the absolute value (0.75 na positive) dun sa 3 para malaman yung distance.
