Following a request about posting a tutorial similar to the "extruder canes" tutorial (it can be found here • 3D Extruder canes - po... ) but for someone who doesn't have or cannot use an extruder, here comes this pretty "leaf" cane and three different patterns you can make with it!
If you just discovered my channel, don't forget to like, subscribe and share with your friends!
I make these free tutorials to encourage people to discover their inner artist, and to grow and develop their innate abilities to create beauty.
Please check the playlists tab on my channel page, as I have organized my videos in a way that would make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. With over 600 videos to date it can be quite challenging to look for something. Also, check my website, where I have more information neatly organized.
Check the community tab on my channel page as well, I post updates there all the time.
I buy my Premo, Fimo and Pardo clays and many other supplies from PolyClay Play.

Please feel free to use the design/technique presented in this video for your own personal use or for making various items to sell. That is what tutorials are for, after all.
Mentioning of the author is desired and appreciated, but not mandatory.
Different than other artists, I will tell you: do exactly what I do in the tutorial, until you are able to do it exactly how I do it. That means you will have mastered the technique and you will be able to start tweaking it and putting your personal touch to it and grow as an artist.
Just please do not copy the tutorial itself and don't present as yours my techniques. It might not be illegal but it's not ethical.
And remember, I love seeing photos of what you did using my tutorials, and if you send some to me, I will feature them on the Kalyana facebook page!
I use music almost solely from the composers listed below .

I really like this cane and all the wonderful different patterns you did. I will have to watch it more then once or find a way to slow it down, a little fast for me at times, lol. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful teaching and tutorial. I really look forward to making this one. 🥰🥰❤️❤️🥰🥰

Thank you! If it is too fast for you, use the little gear at the bottom right of the screen to play the video at lower speed.

You can, and you can also activate close captioning, that will help tremendously if you watch the video on slow speed, as of course the sound will be slowed down. So you can just click on the CC button, then go slow down the speed the video is played at, and then mute the sound. You'll also be able to pause so you can read the transcript at your leisure.

I just used my extruder for the first time today... wow it's a very uncomfortable machine... thank you for this! Beautiful tutorial. A lot of hard handi work went into it!

You got a Walnut Hollow extruder didn't you? The Makins ones work like a charm, even me with my bad hands I can breeze with it

@@KalyanaDesignTutorials I did... had a coupon, lol. I'll end up getting the Makins one and the drill attachment in the very short future. Or I'll just set my teens to work.. they thought it was fun ;)

Yea, I had a Walnut Hollow, needed to get the "gripper" from the kitchen to make it work. With the Makins it's a breeze, I did get the drill attachment but never had to use it.

you might try a drop of silicone oil or armorall on the o ring inside the barrel. That seems to be where the friction is worst. I did that and now I have no trouble with my walnut hollow. It stopped squeaking too!

Elaine, it doesn't help. The Walnut Hollow extruded are just a bad design. The handle design is also awful

How lovely! You make it look so easy. Please explain why you added yellow to the Skinner blend. Not sure why you didnt like the original Skinner blend.
