Yeah man he's a solid A- for me. I love how well he finishes through contract and his hesitation moves are wicked as hell. I had high expectations for Steph coming into this season and so far he has overperformed those expectations significantly. I didn't figure we'd see the three point shot become a viable weapon for him this year but it really has since moving into the starting lineup. Steph is the human Spurs rookie I have been most excited for since Kawhi.

Castle's an A- for me. Ever since getting moved into the starting lineup he has been a major asset for this team and is one of the biggest reasons they're playing ~.500 ball now while being only a 22 win team last season. One of the first things the Wizards Player Development had to do was help Sarr unlearn all those habits he picked up from all the Coaches he played for in the last 3 years. And to be fair, he is not playing with a teammate no where near the caliber of a Trae Young. Sarr is not supposed to be a offensive threat for another 2 seasons so, Coach Keefe said he is allowing Sarr to take 3's if its in the right spot and time. So, my brother actually played with Terrence Shannon Jr. in high school (27th pick) he was his backup PG my brothers Sophomore year. Shannon apprentally had a 60 point game while playing with my brother. Seeing how he gets little to no minutes in the NBA I think shows me just how hard the league is.

A major issue is the NBA Draft Lottery is outdated. The NBA needs to revert back to a traditional draft format because unlike in 1985, players are vastly underdeveloped today. When Patrick Ewing entered the league, he had already played in multiple Final Fours, so he was a proven commodity. In the era of “One-and-Done”, tanking for the players brings less value than it did in years past. However, the level of risk is much higher since incoming players will probably take 3 to 4 years to develop. In cases where the worst teams fall in the draft, they end up in a perpetual cycle of purgatory.

Sarr needs a lot more work and time to build strength and yes need to be comfortable under the basket. I'm cool with it for year 1. Bub Carrington with the B+ and deserves it. Keyshawn George a 'C' is fair. His playing time has been cut a bit lately. Perhaps a little reset. The Wizards need to clear things up with moves and although it probably won't mean more wins it will certainly give the opportunity for more play and continuity.
