He tried to say "you have to lock up" in response to the Pacers shooting 63% from three which Kenny again shot down. Agree 100% I don’t like the fact they saying dmills is discrediting the Celtics run. All he’s saying is it’s concerning being down double digits to pacers. Who would u rather bet on? Mavs or Celtics that’s your answer
@Fent-2 ай бұрын
That doesn’t mean anything. Boston went through the gauntlet in 2022 and GS walked to the finals and they still won. Boston is a clearly better team than Dallas and will win in 5 or 6. If you disagree please send your info and we can bet.

I agree with Darrick. The Celtics were supposed to win against healthy teams, and they were supposed to DOMINATE injured teams. Before y'all say they went 12-2, how many of those game did they barely won? Against injured teams.

I think everyone is completely forgetting how much better the Celtics look on both ends of the floor with Porzingis. With him on the floor the run they’ve had would’ve been the clean dominant run everyone wanted to see.
@bilindabutcher89132 ай бұрын
Yeah when Porzingis is on they are low-key unfair
@doublea76252 ай бұрын
I think this current Mavs team will make things very difficult for KP to play on both sides of the floor, the double screens being thrown at KP will be very difficult to defend, especially with KP being their only elite paint defender with size. DLive being an incredible defender in the paint during this run will test KP to exhaustion especially coming back from injury. Only time will tell.
@doublea76252 ай бұрын
also the rotation of Lively and Gafford is very favorable for the Mavs as shown during these last 3 series. The ability to rotate your centers to rest and not lose any production in interior defense and on PNR plays is a luxury that not many teams have

It makes sense why people wouldn't predict the Mavericks to make a run like this at the beginning of the year because they are in a stacked conference and, the Mavericks didn't have a great year last year so there weren't really any expectations.

not being confident with the celtics is fine, especially with the teams they’ve faced, the main problem was that dmills point about not having faith in the celtics wasn’t really based on anything they did, it’s more based on narratives and biases against the celtics he already had, like he based the lack of confidence on their playoff run against weaker teams, but then said he’d pick the bucks, completely disregarding the regular season where the bucks weren’t bad, but were quite disappointing and no where near the level of the celtics, it’s like performance matters for the celtics but not for the bucks. also moving the goalposts when he said twolves or nuggets would win the west but now he’s acting like it’s always been the mavs and they’re some unbeatable team when he hasn’t even been backing them until they come up against the celtics, he didn’t even pick them 3 games ago against the timberwolves
@alexjames47702 ай бұрын
Saying the Celtics going down by 18 to a Halliburton-less Pacers doesn’t matter and isn’t worrying just bc they managed to win is wild lol. I don’t know why the guys have a problem with Dmills changing his opinion of the Mavericks over the course of the playoffs. He’s essentially admitting he was wrong, and adjusting accordingly, while the other guys bash him for it lol. The Mavs are something like 32-13 since the trade deadline, including 11-4 in the playoffs.
@luistellem72412 ай бұрын
Because DMills can’t actually back what he is saying. Even if it is valid the other guys are pushing him to explain his thought process and he don’t really say much past it’s just a feeling. Thats also why they can easily twist his words
@alexjames47702 ай бұрын
@@luistellem7241 I don’t think he did a poor job explaining it at all. He believed the West was stronger (as do most NBA fans) and that the winner of Denver-Minnesota would beat the Celtics. Minnesota won, and are now losing to the Mavs, who have beat the 4 seed, the 1 seed, and are a game away from beating the 3 seed, all while Luka was hurt, and with Kleber missing most of the playoffs so far. I think most people felt like the Thunder and the TWolves were 2 of the top 5 teams heading into the playoffs.
