Max was spot on at the time for the Iguodala take. Curry was not very clutch when he made that take... like, there's a clear reason Iguodala won FMVP, and it's because Curry did not dominate when he probably should have.

But he's always hurt and unreliable and that's what makes him the worst superstar ever. Look at the clippers the last 4 years. I don’t agree with Wilt, but Hakeem is definitely above Shaq. He has twice the MVP’s and even though Shaq has four rings, Hakeem’s are arguably tougher. They’re certainly more of a one man show than Shaq’s rings, which came alongside the second and third best shooting guards in NBA history. And for his last ring, Shaq was the backup to Alonzo Mourning, so that’s a freebie. Not only that, but Hakeem beat Shaq. Badly, especially in direct matchups. Sure, that wasn’t 2000 Shaq yet, but he wasn’t that far off either. And Hakeem was in his 11th season and 32 years old. He wasn’t in his prime either and still pulled off an all time playoff run. Hakeem was the better defender, more versatile and more skilled. He was the blueprint that guys like Embiid are trying to follow 30 years later. He was the guy that taught Lebron his post moves and made him into a post monster. He is the player that was picked before Michael, and nobody ever argues that it was a bad pick. Hakeem was that good.

How we get off ignoring Bill Russel in a list of all time centers? People don’t credit him cause it’s “so long ago” but the midpoint of Russel’s prime (1965) is 25 years off the midpoint of Jordan’s prime (1990), which is 25 years off the midpoint of Lebron’s prime (2015). If Russel being 25 years before Jordan and Shaw disqualifies his accomplishments, then Jordan being 25 years before Lebron disqualifies his accomplishments, too. Russel is at least top 5 all time at any position and of course with 11 rings is ahead of Shaq. Centers: Russel, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, Wilt, Malone. But putting Wilt over Shaq is not crazy. I love Shaq but he’s either 4 or 5 on the list, and Maddog’s take should bore us. Wtf.
