Grading Tutorial | BMCC 2.5K CinemaDNG raw files | Davinci Resolve

Comparison of 2 methods grading the BMCC's cinemaDNG raw files.
I think converting the raw files to 'Linear' in the camera raw settings minimises the ugly highlight fringing sometimes noticeable in certain circumstances.

i bought a 2.5k an when i go to retrieve the raw footage from the my ssd using my external hard drive slot it only shows pictures of the video how can i retrieve just the videos in raw 2.5k

That's exactly what CinemDNG files are. They are literally every frame separately (at the end of the day, motion picture is still frames at 24 fps...) You'll be able to view the files as video in Davinci Resolve. They won't play on your desktop like an mp4.

Try switching closer to iso 800 for better starting point with highlights
