The comparison you made toward the end was excellent for demonstrating the difference between using additive (RGB) and subtractive (CMY) techniques for color correcting. Thanks for that!

Is it accurate to say that using the RGB controls is affecting the low range colors and CMY controls are controlling the high range colors? To me it seems that adding blue in that example (lets say the effect was 100%) is a gradient of white highlights to blue shadows within the spectrum and subtracting yellow is creating a gradient of blue highlights and black shadows. Am I crazy? lol I'm just trying to wrap my head around when additive color is better than subtractive color and vice versa. Love the video!

Great tutorial. Is it possible to use those keys for LGG wheels as well? Or is it locked to offset only?
@lukerosspost
@lukerosspost Жыл бұрын
Hey - unfortunately the LGG wheels aren't linked to shortcut keys, so it only works for the printer lights!

Hi, thanks for the tut! Can you use printer lights on a laptop keyboard though?
@lukerosspost
@lukerosspost 2 жыл бұрын
Hey mate! No you need the numpad, or an external device like a full size keyboard or Stream Deck.
@alexandrecrozet1755
@alexandrecrozet1755 10 ай бұрын
You totally can use it on a laptop ! You just need to go to keyboard customisation and assign the hotkeys to whatever key you want. Moreover if you use a MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar, you already have it on the Touch Bar which is even more visual.@@lukerosspost

@@alexandrecrozet1755 I wasn't aware of the compatibility with the Touch Bar, that's cool 🔥 although you can map the hotkeys to whatever you like, practically, on a smaller keyboard without dedicated keys, it's a huge pain. Most common keyboard buttons are already assigned to shortcut keys and finding a good layout is tricky. The Touch Bar sounds like a cleaner solution!
@alexandrecrozet1755
@alexandrecrozet1755 10 ай бұрын
Yes, of course you can't have it all on a small keyboard if you want to use other shortcuts. But yes the Touch Bar option works well! @@lukerosspost

If you have a device like a Stream Deck or an extended keyboard, it will 😊 most laptop keyboards don’t have a numpad unfortunately so they can’t be used…!

Is there a way to use these controls for Lift, Gamma, Gain - or only for the offset? Right now I just hover my cursor over the primaries bar and scroll to adjust, but hotkeying would be handy.
