Grado Labs Opus 3 Phono Cartridge Introduction

Grado cartridges use the "moving iron" principle. It was described also as "induced magnet" by ADC years ago.

Any idea if the mono versions are true mono or strapped stereo signals combined for mono?

I found conflicting spec descriptions on the net, Output: 4.0 mV vs. 4.8 mV - for the same Opus3 High version - do you know the reason for this difference?

Grado's website states 4.0mV for the high output version, 1.0mV for the low output version.

This video was from 2020 so maybe specs changed. Really when it comes down to it the cart is MM so any MM phono stage will accommodate

If you enjoy the "Grado house sound" you will love this cart! It is definitely the voice of the Prestige Gold with just a little something extra on it. Very strong mid range and plenty of vibrance. Possible a tiny bit bass shy but very accurate in the low end and tight.

Stylus is not replaceable on these models.
