Hey! The salary scale for consulting in the big 4 is different from audit (which is what you have described in this video). Consultants are not required to be qualified accountants and the salary is usually higher than entry level qualified auditors. I have worked at both KPMG and Deloitte in Nigeria and the UK and consulting is always on a different scale.

Fun Fact: Arthur Andersen (AA) was the 5th of the big 5 until the Enron Corp scandal happened in October, 2001. This led to the dissolution of Arthur Andersen and Enron filing for bankruptcy. So yeah, ICYDK, it was formerly the Big 5.

A small correction: McKinsey's YLP in Lagos is a 1 year program (typically for corpers) and not a 2 year program. After the year, based on performance you may get promoted to a Business Analyst

Pls review the insurance industry also, not just banking. The pay within the top 5 insurance companies in Nigeria is the same as the that of the big 4 you mentioned here, and they offer a much better work life balance than management consulting.

I think it's more accurate to note that these are not consulting salaries. These are for audit roles. Unless it's a blanket sum across all roles, regardless of whether or not you are in tax, advisory or audit

It comes in 3 parts 1)sequence and series 2) shapes 3) word problems Watch a lot of youtube videos on pwc aptitude test, focus on numerical s cause that’s all they set, above all work on your time cause that’s where the main problem is, the questions are not hard but the timing is short and mind you calculators are not allowed.
