If Nigeria can’t even afford to pay the few doctors they have left a decent salary, how does the government plan to pay the new doctors which they want prevent from Japa-ing. How can they even afford that? Personally I’d love to stay but I want to live well and I want my children to enjoy the fruits of my hardwork. After watching your video, I’m saddened by your plight and others in your profession. I live in the U.S and it is so discouraging to know that a nurse aid in the U.S makes more money than a Nigerian doctor. Nurse aids make an average of about $18-20 per hour. It also sad that some doctors in Nigeria make less than what I send to my mother in Nigeria monthly. I send her 250k a month. I cant imagine sending my daughters to school all those years and only for them to make such pittance. Please if you have an opportunity to JAPA, do it quickly and without any remorse. There are no doctors in the U.S making less than $200k a year. Your profession and skillset are highly compensated around the world. Do you have a place where your viewers can make donations?

@@israelrichard2132you realize that compared to the cost of living here, paying the tuition fees is still a lot for our parents.. I know how much my dad struggled to make payments every year for a cousin of ours that was an orphan.. then calculate that with paying fees for other children (I was still in Uni then also); catering for the needs of the family even in a 2 person earning household not to talk about 1 earning household.. many of our parents are civil servants that their salaries are still small.. my mum, till she retired as a teacher she barely earned up to 200k.. in Nigeria medicine is still one of the most expensive courses to study.. so this your comparison isn’t what you think it is
