If Nigeria can’t even afford to pay the few doctors they have left a decent salary, how does the government plan to pay the new doctors which they want prevent from Japa-ing. How can they even afford that? Personally I’d love to stay but I want to live well and I want my children to enjoy the fruits of my hardwork. Nigeria already took that from me but trust me nobody will enjoy more than my children

I'm sure you would need the amount for a beginner. Also, I would advise you get registered with the HCPC, CORU and CAMRT as soon as you graduate. These would license you to practice outside this country. You guys are really sort after, most of my husband's intern students don't stay too long in Nigeria after internship before leaving. My husband on the other hand has been a hard lover of Nigeria, vowed never to leave but lately, I have been able to convince him, infact he is personally getting tired and loosing hope in the Nigeria system. After watching your video, I’m saddened by your plight and others in your profession. I live in the U.S and it is so discouraging to know that a nurse aid in the U.S makes more money than a Nigerian doctor. Nurse aids make an average of about $18-20 per hour. It also sad that some doctors in Nigeria make less than what I send to my mother in Nigeria monthly. I send her 250k a month. I cant imagine sending my daughters to school all those years and only for them to make such pittance. Please if you have an opportunity to JAPA, do it quickly and without any remorse. @@israelrichard2132you realize that compared to the cost of living here, paying the tuition fees is still a lot for our parents..
