15:08 -- "As you can see here this is our base pattern page and it goes throughout (the waterfall pages)." 🤩 Fantastic idea to have slots in the background paper so your waterfall goes through and you don't loose your background paper. 20:33 -- I love that you not only took the time to consider and create the decor elements for the banner layout, but that you shared this tidbit with us!

You could add an adhesive strip leaving the backing strip on, on the banner hinges to make adhering them permanently at a later date.

1:57:27 -- "This was the only way I could figure how to save on cardstock." Good point if you are using 12"x12" paper and if you want pockets for both pages. Using 8 ½ x 11 paper with small bottom flap to attach paper for a pocket, or simply cut off: Lay in the score board with the 11" side of the paper along the top. Measure over 4 ¾" and score, rotate 180 degrees, score at ⅜" and ⅝", then as close to halfway between 5 ¾" and 5 ⅞" as possible (5 13/16 if you can measure in 16th of an inch). If the last score is slightly off it doesn't matter; that is simply the flap to attach the banner page. Finish with the last three scores along the perpendicular side at ½, 6 ½, and 7 ¾. I feel great having figured this out for the different size cardstock I am using. 😅🎉

Thank you so much for your kind words - I really appreciate you! I used a white glitter cardstock but really any white or gold will work. White glitter cardstock is usually hard to find and the specific brand I used is no longer made. I'd recommend the new Welsh Gold Glitter Card by Tonic - you'll need 2 packs. www.countrycraftcreations.com/products/tonic-studio-craft-perfect-glitter-cardstock-8-5x11-5-pkg-welsh-gold And, unfortunately, the brads I used (Recollections at Michaels) are no longer available as well - I just checked on them too. Ugh! Again, as long as the brad will hold the page down it will work. They did have some cute gold glitter star brads. I hope in some way this helped. TFW!

Love, love, love this album! I have been looking for an album for my nephew. He just finished preschool, and when I saw his school picture, I knew I needed to make a school year album. It's so exciting that it has a banner as a bonus! Great idea!! Thank you!

I love this! My grandson is starting 9th grade I would love to make this for him. I haven’t watched the whole video yet I’m just at the end where you’re talking about the svg file and pdf file. I do not have an electronic machine which one do I need to buy? Plus I’m assuming there’s a supply list through CCC?
@JacqsScraps5 ай бұрын
I'm so happy that you like my project and want to create one for your grandson! The free PDF pattern has been provided so you can create the banner pieces by hand. Just print on cardstock and then use that as a template to cut out the number needed. I certainly don't mean for you to go out and purchase a cutting machine to use the SVGs. That is an investment. I have the Cricut Maker which I use with my SVGs. Here is a supply list that I provided on Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations: my best recollection. The Graduate collection (2 of each design) and ephemera by Photo Play; gold mirror cardstock (4-5 8 1/2 x 11) and glitter cardstock (6 8 1/2 x 11) - I used a white glitter. White cardstock (2-3 8 1/2 x 11). Kraft cardstock (6-7 8 1/2 x 11); black artisan cardstock: to wrap the covers (4-5 8 1/2 x 11), for the pages (6 12 x 12), banner pieces (6 8 1/2 x 11), slotted waterfall and other elements (2-3 12 x 12); 13 brads (or use can use magnets) and 1 set of magnets for the waterfall. Hope all this helps.

@@robynlutes1415 I got the brads from a store that closed. I did see that the Eyelet Outlet has graduation cap brads that should work. Let's take this conversation off screen. Email me and let me know where you are located. Use jacqsscraps@gmail.com Thanks!

Thank you so much! I'm so excited to hear you are going to make this album! I believe I responded to your brad question on Etsy. I could not find these brads listed anywhere and recommend any type of brad that is not just a round element on top. Happy crafting!
