Captain, thank God that your police force and your town have you in charge. I as a Blackman, from New York City originally now living in a small town in Massachusetts, who could have been that young man if it wasn't for a Police officer like you that gave a dam, talked with me and I was so impressed by him, I listened. Big Bill is what we called him, because of his height 7'3, had a gym in the Bronx New York, and he said to me, that since I liked to fight, that he wanted me to come over to the gym. I did after a lot of thought. It was the best move I have ever did in my life. Several of my running buddies followed me and we became good boxers, I was a fly weight with a 51fights and 50 ko record. Later I went into the US NAVY and I served on the world's first Nuclear powered Aircraft Carrier, the USS Enterprise CVA(N)65. I am still so proud at 80yrs of age that I was chosen to be part of the crew, a Blackman and to have served with John McCain, who later was transferred to the USS FORESTAL another Air craft Carrier. Thanks to big Bill. I accomplished those things because like you he cared. I apologize for taking so long to say my piece. God Bless you and your family and I pray that the Almighty Father will keep you and your fellow officers safe. Arthur Jackson.

I admire Sheriff Judd for his cooperation with other agencies. He’s not an “I and Me” but rather and “Us and We” person. He doesn’t care who gets the credit, just so the job gets done. So many LE officials want all of the credit themselves and some brag about how great they are when someone else is doing the work. I applaud Sheriff Judd for his willingness to keep the public informed. He’s one of the best sheriffs in this country today. Others should follow his example.

Do you also blame devil worshipping heavy metal artists for all the crimes Whites commit? Cause the last time I checked, Whites LEAD the Nation in violent crimes, especially mass shootings and school shootings, are Rock Stars to blame for that? Or who’s to blame for that? Genuinely curious, not trying to be sarcastic at all. I grew up listening to rap music, so have about 20-30 friends of mine, none of us committed crimes because of it and have great careers. So I’m curious what one has to do with the other. Are video games and action movies to blame for violent crimes as well? Or is it bad parenting and poverty stricken neighborhoods? I’d like to hear your take on that.

He is so correct when he speaks about the state of rap music currently being used to promote violence and revenge shootings. I love Grady Judd and the way he carries himself but he like the counselor of south park trying to tell kids that drugs are bad here and will have 0 efficacy, worse I would say this is the first time I have heard you say something that I disagree with. Well, maybe not the first but it stands out and that is appearing to assume the mother of the suspect is thuggish, even if you did know for a fact the she or one of her friends were, keeping in mind we don't know what you know. We all know it is the environment, and your appreciation from the mother that wasn't "thuggish" highlights that, so I feel you kind of worked against yourself by referencing the mother as irresponsible even if it were true.

He constantly works against the system he works for as well. The DA needs to reign this man in sometimes. He enjoys the camera, drama, and the attention he gets for his dramatized press conferences, which I enjoy by the way, but he crosses the line on legality sometimes. Some of these suspects haven’t been even arraigned yet and he’s already declaring them guilty or saying they’re “going to jail for life” on National TV before the case is even heard. In 100% of states that I know in the US, this is not only illegal, but can also get a case thrown out in court as there’s no way defendants would have a fair trial in circumstances like that. I dunno, I think he goes too far sometimes.
@aaronawoodard
@aaronawoodard Жыл бұрын
@@AlmightyEye Yet he continues, leading me to believe that the people have either already confessed or rarely ever have a good enough lawyer to argue these points. He is usually careful to bring up their past and harp on that, although more often than not I would imagine they have a lot of the things they claim on body cam. I mean, with a good enough lawyer they could roast the claims about having a "thuggish" mom was in my opinion the line that crossed it. Normally he has confessions and body cam and plenty of qualifiers to only imply the person is guilty or say what happens if they do find him guilty. I may be wrong though, I don't watch everything he puts out, but have seen him arrest his own officers for abusing their power so... I can accept his grandstanding as he actually somewhat earns it.

I agree. He loves the camera and makes that pretty obvious. Not only that, but I think some of these press conferences border on violating offender’s rights and also put some of these cases in jeopardy of being thrown out of court. You can’t put a picture of a defendant on TV and say “He’s going to jail for the rest of his life”, before the case or the defendant is even arraigned. I’m surprised the DA in his county hasn’t reigned him in it. He’s actually putting some of these cases at risk.

This sheriff is the man!! But, I think he went a bit too far with the pic of the accused and saying he’s going to jail for the rest of his life. Facts are that kid hasn’t been found guilty yet, and holding a press conference and putting his picture out on TV and basically saying he’s guilty isn’t exactly part of the criminal prosecution process. Any attorney can argue that his client was already portrayed as guilty on National TV and have his case/trial moved somewhere else or thrown out. The DA in his county needs to reign this sheriff in sometimes. Like I said, I like this guy, but his press conferences sometimes cross the line as you can’t go on National TV and say a defendant is guilty or going to jail for life before he’s even been properly arraigned. He’s literally putting these cases at risk because he loves the cameras and loves to dramatize things too much. This isn’t the Hallmark Network, stick to the facts and leave the emotion and drama out of it.

So what is the “huge problem” in non-democratic cities? Last time I checked FBI Crime stats (Table 43), Whites led in violent and non-violent crimes in the Nation, including non-democratic states. Also, Republican led states not only represented the lowest ranking states in educational standings in the nation, but also represented the highest number of welfare recipients and welfare recipients committing fraud and stealing tax payer money. Genuinely curious, not trying to be sarcastic, what is the “huge problem” in GOP led/large white population states? I’d like to hear your take on that. Seems to me like whites like to focus on inner-city crime, because those are mostly dominated by people of color, but ignore the largest population and areas of crime that aren’t inner city locations and dominated by people of color. What’s your opinion on that? If gangs aren’t the problem in these areas, then what is?

There is already gun laws criminals don't care about laws that's what makes them outlaws. The shooter was nineteen. If he used a handgun he can't even legally own one not to mention he had seven felonies. He legally isn't supposed to be in possession of a gun regardless of his age. We should have learned during the 1930s that prohibition does nothing but make more crime. And music is art just because it's not art to you doesn't mean it's not art. I do agree though, I've been saying it forever most rap music glorifies violence and calling women hos. So many young boys growing up without fathers that look up to rappers and think that's what makes a man.

Also, much respect to McGee's mother for thinking of others during what is, I'd imagine, the most horrible time of her life. Regardless of everything else, she's still a mother that lost her son. And, as always, much thanks and admiration for Sheriff Grady Judd and the Polk County Sheriff's Department. Sheriff Judd is obviously a no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is, justice-seeking man/cop that any community would be blessed to have. Unfortunately, the sad truth is, we can't say that about *many* cops. I own property in a certain midwestern state, and for quite a few years we had a dirty, no good, lying criminal for a sheriff. The biggest town in the county is still tiny, and it was operated like a 'good ol' boy' network. I won't go into details, but the sheriff was finally brought up on some 11 felony charges after the state took notice. He couldn't be fired and hung on to the end, causing as many problems as he could. Of course we know how that works. Although he was eventually convicted, he was allowed a plea deal which included NO prison time, and he was able to retire with his full pension in-tact. He didn't even have to pay a penny for his high-dollar lawyers that were brought in from Chicago. It wasn't very long after that the assistant county attorney was arrested because she and her boyfriend were operating a meth. lab. Again, no jail time involved. 'Justice' isn't justice if it only applies to some, but not to others. I wish we could clone Sheriff Judd about 10,000 times, and send him/them all around the country.
