@@thepsychicspoon5984while I agree that crime is crime, each case is always going to be unique in their own way. Interesting comment Dennis and your father was so right. I worked as an airline pilot before I retired and the aircraft I flew had a cockpit crew of 2. There was also a jumpseat in the cockpit that was sometimes used by other pilots who were traveling to work or home when there were no seats available in the cabin. The jumpseat was also used by management pilots who were required to observe working crews on a periodic basis. As the Captain, whenever that jumpseat was occupied by a pilot, I always doubled my guard because adding another person to the mix just seemed to change the nature of things. For some reason when any two people are together it almost creates a new third person and and when 3 people are together it creates a different person? too. I suppose that is why you hear about so many horrific crimes that are committed when 2 or more seemingly harmless people get together.

YES. Kids (even adults) believe that even though they did not directly participate in a killing or an act that resulted in killing, you can still be charged for that killing. This is because you have decided to join a 'conspiracy' to commit a crime with at least one other person and what ever crimes the other person commits is applied to you (and vice versa). . . . The only exception to this is when you decided to help on the condition that you know clearly that a crime will not be committed (such as you may take your friend to another person's house to just talk under the condition that they do not fight but your friend didn't tell you he/she brought a gun and is going to shoot the person).
