I was at a double header against the Royals in 2004, Cleveland was down 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th and managed to tie it. A base hit and a walk later, Sizemore comes to bat. He manages a full count and then drills a base hit between the short stop and third baseman to win the game. It was my first time seeing him in person and the whole atmosphere during that game was like every one knew just how special this kid was going to be.

Still love Grady to this day. Will always be a big fan. His fielding was insane, a highlight machine. I swear I remember him making a diving catch on the warning track over his head with his back to home plate (like Willie mays but diving) and it's probably the greatest catch I've ever seen but I can't find it anywhere. Does any1 else remember that specifically? He played with reckless abandon in the field which made him great but is rough on the body. Him and Griffey jr. are my favorite center fielders ever and both sacrificed their health in order to do everything possible to record an out. How can you not love a player like that if you're a fan

His last season in 2000 after getting traded to the cardinals from the Orioles he hit .345 with 12 homers and 42 RBI in 51 games when McGuire was injured helping St Louis into the post season. He was a clutch hitter who played the game the right way I still watch him on KZbin
