Massive Liverpool fan but lost all respect for Souness here. Stabbing people in the back here is horrible and the fact he wouldnt stick by his colleagues and friends if they were being hushed is horrible. Changed my opinion on him massively and spent lots of time defending him but not anymore.

Growing up in the late 70s into the 80s, i liked souness as a player, one of the best midfielders around with robbo hoddle etc, however as a pundit, he wasn't great, always came across as bitter to me, sour to some point, i wish him all the best tho and kudos for his charity swim across the channel, he has a good heart..

You mean the "common people" like England's footballers during the World Cup when Neville tried to get them to go on strike! or how about playing for the Glazer's at Man Utd for about 5 years while they paid him millions a year and then complaining about them and joining the supporters on wanting them out when he retired. Neville is only a 'man of the people' when it suits him!

Graeme has had a great career first as our captain and then as a broadcaster. He was a great, tough - tackling midfielder and an out and out winner. As a commentator his knowledge of the game and analysis was second to none.
