Things that they don't tell you: 1. your caps falling into a canal or falling into tall grass and you not being able to find it 2. forgetting to bring water to thin out latex fill pieces 3. adrenaline making your hands super shaky and unstable, like ik i shouldnt be that scared anymore but why are my hands trembling 4. forgetting to put "2023" or something next to your piece 5. bad can control 6. your pants being messed up with paint (wear cheap pants) 7. forgetting to bring gloves 8. "can stuttering" (ask your local experienced writer for this) 9. when you bomb somewhere far away and you get really really lost and dk how to get home New edits: 10. Heroes trying to stop you (the best way to deescalate is to confuse them by giving them stickers with a smile and friendly "hi!" 11. Young street kids being amazed at the art (ask them if they wanna tag) 12. Clogging caps especially on low quality paint, make sure to shake a lot and strike the sides of the can with your palm 13. Stepping on poop 14. When you're on a bike and stop to do a throwie, set your gear to something low like 4 or 3 before you park so you can quickly accelerate and bike away if you get stopped 15. Angry bald gang members 16. Bring water and lunch! Best is bread with spam or an egg sandwich. 17. Give me more suggestions

Blackbooks sometimes create a "pressure" to artists, some people never even dare to draw something onto their first page, because they consider it as a title page. Just give a shit about the quality in what you do and draw what YOU like and want to try and fill it up. Have fun, it is just a sketchbook after all. If you like something to show off, create a blackfolder to put in your burners. But be careful with your sketches, if you paint illegally, the police will take them and use it as evidence.

We were on a small balcony near a busy road and the best thing was we could actually see what we were painting LoL 😅 Non rushed non adrenaline non negative consequences.

By the way.... of course it's always good to practice a lot of straight lines, but the best coverage to fill in parts, comes from circular movement out of the wrist, not from drawing straight lines. :-)
@GraffitiBloq3 жыл бұрын
I guess you're right. But you could also go over it in another direction. But if the piece is filled like I did it, you won't see it on the picture. But maybe the piece will last a little shorter.

Yes, but Latex gloves are fine there are thin enough, but in winter your fingers will die.
@GraffitiBloq3 жыл бұрын
In my opinion I don't think it will make much of difference. If you learn first without, than you have to learn with gloves on later on. So why not skip right to the part where you're painting with gloves on?
@killingbeatrice97882 жыл бұрын
@@GraffitiBloq Hi, I agree. I started painting graffiti without gloves, years ago. Many friends painted without, so I started the same way. But now that I would like to save my fingers, it is harder for me to use them because the "feel is different" so I wear it, for big fills, for the out lines I take them off. If I started with, maybe it would be different.

Just putting this out there... I have seen some amazing graffiti artists and I've wondered to myself what would happen if a really great graffiti artist connected with a talented person who knows how to use a rug tufting gun? You guys should look into rug tufting. You could turn your art work into one of a kind area rugs and carpets quite easily and I would bet the farm that they would sell if marketed properly. Trust me, look into it. Watch videos on the process and I think you would immediately see the possibilities. You guys could come up with way better designs than what I've seen so far from watching carpet tufting videos, big time.

U should do a video using RUSTOLEUM paint cans those are what is most commonly used in America for graffiti, and we also frequently use NY fat caps cus they’re good for skinny and fat line and they’re the oldest cap in the game if start learning with a cap like that your can control is bound to improve quicker than going the ez route , most of these caps dont fit on rusto cans only with an adapter and even then montana caps are made to excell on montana cans, great video , see ya

Not to mention rusto cans are better paint and way cheaper! Montana in the us cost around 9-10$ per can rusto is only $4
@GraffitiBloq3 жыл бұрын
I’ve tried to let someone send me box of rusto but he had trouble with shipping them because it are pressured goodies. Here in Europe I pay like almost 15-20€ for rusto and they have a different look as the ones in the us. So I wished I could record one but it looks almost impossible

Is there a special temperature up to which you can spray? Because the paint can’t dry at too low temperatures or is that wrong?
@GraffitiBloq3 жыл бұрын
The paint inside spray cans don't really freeze. You can easily paint when it's freezing outside but there is a chance that your work will last a lot shorter. Also some brands of spray paint don't work as well as others. Montana Black line works still pretty well in my experience during the winter.
@florianrehm85793 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your tips 👍🏼
@vrc7net3 жыл бұрын
@@florianrehm8579 Because of the low temperature these is less pressure in the cans and they might stop working or leak. Give them a good rub then or throw in a hand warmer or things like that if this happens. The paint will not stay on icy walls because you're essentially painting on the ice which will just run off the wall when it gets warmer. Its no problem when the spot is painted frequently or buffed anyway very soon, but if you expect it to last many years make sure there is not a lot of ice.
