Generation X is/was much more badass and rebellious than Millennials (they get so much hate for simply being young in a time that has more technology), people just forget that now that so much time has passed. Many adults hated and misunderstood the youth in the early 90s far more than they do today.

The LA style is what we used to imitate here in Tijuana Mexico and migrated south,at the time i thought we were imitating the NY style and that was the roots of graffiti,but what we where doing here is straight up LA style which is different form all others,i would say is the best style of modern graffiti,i don't mean the peaces or the wild style but just the straight letters are awesome and so artistic.

I love these old anti-graff videos. I get a good laugh every time they say “graffiti tagger” or “vandal”. They always think it’s gang related and they always call it “an eyesore”. It’s funny how people’s perspective still haven’t changed a bit.

@Jayne-n1m6 жыл бұрын
lmaoooo so you're an expert on graff culture then huh?

you dont need to be an expert to know that people who do graffiti are vandals. graffiti is vandalism by definition. you utter piece of human garbage. god i fucking hate you.
@Jayne-n1m6 жыл бұрын
lol calm down. If I spend five hours doing a piece in a notebook, following all the rules and guidelines to make decent looking graffiti, as well as following all the elements and principles of art, is that graffiti? Yes. Is it vandalism? No. Graffiti is an art form you have to study for years to get good at just like any other art. You have to learn can control, letter and line uniformity and similarity, flow, letter weight, as well as all the fundamentals of art. The shit is mad hard to do. Just because some people choose to do it illegally doesn't mean all of it is just mindless vandalism.
