Crown grafting of the cherry tree onto the wild. We follow the various operations from the collection of the scions, to the execution of the grafting, to the results of the rooting.
Here is how grafting was carried out in the past: instead of refrigerating the scions, simple burial was used; instead of mastic, the grafted part was protected with a mud wrap wrapped with leaves of various kinds and willow was used to bind. We follow the evolution of the graft until the buds have released the twigs that will constitute the future plant.
