USDA technician Angel Marrero grows rootstocks and side grafts cacao (Theobroma cacao) to propagate specific cultivars conserved at the USDA Tropical Agriculture Research Station (the genebank unit of the National Plant Germplasm System located in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico).
