The lady singer is Diane Stewart, Grahams wife at the time and one-time (along with Graham) a member of Ginger Baker's Airforce.

Ginger baker said Graham Bond used to shoot up a mixture of cocaine heroin and LSD all in 1 hit! and he can play music like that? 2 instruments like a master? I've done all those drugs but never in 1 hit! so I can imagine how unbeliveably disorientating that must be and yet he is capable of this? what a talent! very sad ending, under a train at Piccadily circus for Mr Bond.

whatever became of Diane Stewart, Graham's wife?
@gilobregon2 жыл бұрын
Good question! I did learn this year that she passed on -- but I don't know when. She almost totally withdrew from the music scene after she abruptly left Bond & Brown. Her daughter has been a semi-pro (at least) singer. P.S. She spelled it, "Dianne".

The original line-up was Graham, Jack, Ginger and John. That was jazz, basically. Then Dick replaced John, and that formed the classic R&B line-up. There were subsequent changes. That's the history in outline.
