Just found this as it didn't arrive in my feed yesterday! That looks an excellent acquisition!!! The detail on something that is that small, is great!!! Plenty of time to bring the countryside together in the next couple of months judging by the weather!!!!

The detail is wonderful and it's only about 3 and half inches long. How do they do it?

Fits in nicely on the single line. I got lucky on ebay again. My wife says I need to stop getting lucky! I think I'm at the end of collecting now, anything else I buy will just be gathering dust. Cheers

@@ngaugeonashelf4417 , I know what you mean about collecting dust, I was quite fancying a new one of those GF “Twins” diesels, but after some thought I realised it would spend most of its time sat in it’s box gathering said dust so I’ll leave it…………..for now 😉

It's a nice little model. Never knew it existed until I saw it on ebay. I feel much more confident buying the newer models over the older more crude ones. The pick ups and motors are better. Cheers

I will have to offload a couple of the older ones in the new year Ian. I'll wait until Feb as everyone will be broke in Jan. I must not buy any more! Simon

Hi Simon, i had one of those from new and as i was busy building did not run it much. However whilst watching a video i noticed the tender really jumped up and down as the wheel set was dodgy, got another wheel set from Bachman and when it arrived there was fluff like it was second hand, on getting the third set i could not make it run that well so sold it. Your looks to be running great, as we know sometimes it can be just luck but i think overall the locos are getting better and better. All the best.

You do seem to need some luck with locos. Same with trucks. I have so many trucks that wobble as they are poorly made. Hate the cheap Peco trucks with plastic wheels. Got rid of the few I had. I just don't quite understand the pin that locates in a depression in the plastic chassis. Such a poor decision. Cheers

Don't get an Ivatt 2mt Dapol. I did. It's very pretty, yes, a new motor made it just about bearable, but the wheels are not round. And do I turn my own O gauge wheels. GF, i have several, they all run really nice from the 90's through to now. The recent ones are very nice indeed. If this was a GF 2mt I would just buy one.

I've got 2 Farish 2MTs. That part of the stable is full. You couldn't give me a Dapol right now for free. I have had nothing but problems with them. Cheers
